Normally, podcasts are easy to do and being motivated, one goes to work in exciting anticipation to let the latest delicacies and accumulated "podcast records" shine.
At 3hrs 33min though, the situation is different. We rummaged deep in the record crate, full of enthusiasm knowing exactly what was being played. Dissatisfied with the result and a musical existential crisis not far away, we reflected and rethought the essence of our music: who are we and what do we want anyway? With detective acumen, we conducted acquisitions for weeks and dove into old and new realms in search of the undefinable. Back to the roots...

Just like a delicious dish, a quality composition needs time to develop. Even here, a recipe is a good base, a little freestyle makes it even better. So that it ends up crispy but fluffy inside. The "Crispy Base" remix by Just Emma is just delicious as the original song. Overall, its a bit faster and more tech-infused. It features more LFO-driven elements, resulting in an exciting arrangement filled with fluffy breaks, a melodious drop and a allready known Deep Pan Pizza signature. Released back in 2006, 'Atlas' has reached its ten year anniversary and what better way to celebrate than with some shiny new remixes? From one duo another, Swiss pair Adriatique have swapped DIYmanic for devilish with their new re-imagining.

They've taken the techno bruiser and turned into a twinkly builder, one that keeps intact all of the components that make the original so good. The colossal main riff is still there, creating a nice amount of dread while tones flutter innocently in the background.

Hot on the heels of the monster release of “Mutter” on Gerd Janson’s Running Back, Konstantin Sibold has delivered an acid remix for the Danish experimental pop band WhoMadeWho.

The original song, an infectious 3-minute pop ballad has been mutated and stretched out into a pulsating acid track, aimed squarely at the dancefloor. Tomas Høffding’s vocals sit proudly over a thumping kick drum and result in 7 minutes of potent, almost ominous club music that sits resolutely at the low end of the pH scale.
