Ruben Coslada fasziniert uns mit seiner neuen EP "Archipel", indem er den Wechsel der Gezeiten in ein groovig knarziges Gesamtpaket komponiert hat. Wir
spüren in "Calima" dem sandigen Ostwind der kanarischen Inseln nach. Die Sicht ist leicht getrübt, das Licht rötlich gebrochen und die trockene Luft fegt über die Archipelgewässer.

Wie in einem luziden Rausch webt Dani Posadas Remix eine weitere Ebene aus knackigen Wüstenklängen in ihre Interpretation, während Matija uns mit einem entschleunigten Remix tiefer ins mäandernde Traumland entführt.

Ebenso wie die Logik des Archipels auf die Vielfalt der verschiedenen Inseln verweist, werden die vom Meer belebten Räume in dieser EP im zweiten Track
"Taoro" versinnbildlicht und in einem ständigen Fluss der genüsslichen Verlangsamung zelebriert.

Denn auch in der Philosophie stellte Gilles Deleuze über das Archipel fest: "Die Welt besteht [...] aus fließenden Beziehungen, aus Inseln und dem Dazwischen,
aus beweglichen Punkten und gewundenen Linien."

Up next are short stories behind three of its tracks.

Kejawen: This track is a tribute to Javanese culture and the traditional
sounds of the gamelan. It draws on the philosophy of Kejawen, which seeks
harmony between humanity, nature, and the divine. Inspired by a seven-month
journey through Southeast Asia in 2016, it reflects a way of life that connects us to
the universe’s deeper rhythms.

Xapiri: Rooted in Brazilian traditions, this track honors the Yanomami
people's sacred word "Xapiri," symbolizing the spiritual guides who assist
shamans in maintaining cosmic balance. A personal homage to a deep connection
with Brazil, this piece merges mystical elements with a deep reverence for the
forces that govern the world.

Selva d'Or: "Golden Jungle" evokes the vibrant landscapes of El Salvador,
specifically the serene village of Suchitoto, where nature, people, and organic
sounds blend into an unforgettable experience. A one-month immersion in 2022,
allowed for the recording of ambient sounds and voices that became the heartbeat
of this track, connecting memories to the present.

Kaöb - Xapiri

It all started with a simple Handpan recording...
Its sound sparked something deep inside me. Then came the Afro-house style kicks and percussions, building the pulse of the track.
With my lovely PSR Santana electric guitar, I added some ambient tones, a floating space between earth and sky.
Finally, the soulful Persian Kamanche joined in, bringing the spirit of the East into this modern blend.
That’s how Echo of Us was born, the echo of all of us, in a world where borders are fading.

گاهی موسیقی از برنامه و ایده شروع نمی‌شه، از یک لحظه شروع می‌شه.
یه روز صمیمی‌ترین هم‌راهم یک هنگ‌درام آورد به استودیوی من در دوسلدورف…
صداش و وجودش فضا رو پر کرد، انگار نوری وارد اتاق شد.
با Neumann TLM 102-و Avalon Sp 737 preamp ضبطش کردم، بعد چند کیک و پرکاشن آفروهاوس ساختم و کار جوون گرفت.
بعد با گیتار مورد علاقم PSR Santana چند لایه اتمسفریک اضافه کردم، و فضای کار رویایی‌تر شد.
اما جادو وقتی اتفاق افتاد که حسین کاشف با کمانچه‌اش اومد.
با هم خندیدیم، گپ زدیم، او نواخت و من ضبط کردم…
یه قطعه که نه فقط از صدا، بلکه از احساس و دوستی ساخته شد.
