The human blink is controlled by the subconscious. The reflexive closing movement of the eyelids clean and protect the eyes. When we blink, the visual centre in the brain is regulated. Therefore, we do not consciously perceive this whole process and the briefly reduced incidence of light. On average, this procedure is conducted 10-15 times per minute. In moments of great excitement, joy or concentration, we can blink significantly less often. Due to the excessive focus, the blinking becomes a consciously controlled process for a certain amount time. Pulli & Chomba are undoubtedly experts of Downtempo music. Their sound style is powerful, driving and melodic at the same time. They seem predestined to remix a master of his craft like Joe Carl. While staying true to the original, they add their own touch to this interpretation of „Days Are Gone“. The result is a harmonious mix that is a pleasure to listen to. We've been looking forward to our next EP for months, as it's produced by an artist whose sound is for a long time on top of our personal wish list for a release.

The two original tracks are written by Senior Citizen and mark his debut EP on our label. With his unique signature sound, he made every true downtempo fan melt last year and we're really excited to follow his artistical path in the future as well.

The equally awesome remixes this time were contributed by Captain Future and our jack-of-all-trades and secret weapon, Daniel Hokum. The mastering is, as always, by Haunted Water, and the artwork was provided by Kilian Van de Water.

This single is accompanied by two different styled remixes from Tlazohtla (Mexico City) and Sebastian Gabriel (Berlin) each one made with their own point of view and creation.
