London-born, Dubai-based DJ and producer David Ramano is a rapidly rising force in the global electronic music scene. STO returns with ‘Kick vs. Clap 2’, the next chapter in the series. This one goes deeper, darker and more techno-focused than the first.

Where the original leaned minimal, part 2 brings more pressure. The kick and clap still drive the rhythm, but the groove feels tighter and more insistent. There’s more weight in the low-end, more forward motion in the way the drums hit.

A melodic line simmers beneath the surface. It’s not dominant, but it shapes the atmosphere and pulls the track into a more hypnotic space. It builds slowly, never breaking the tension, just keeping things moving.

The sound design is raw and textured. Analogue grit, subtle saturation, and space between the elements give it a lived-in feel. It’s built for dark clubs, where detail matters and the groove does the work.
