“Como El Viento, Vuelve” is Manolis Sueuga’s experimental take on the elusive nature of ancestry; one that gestures towards Sueuga’s partial understanding of their Tohono O’Odham roots, while acknowledging the unknowability of the past.

Through haunting rhythms and atmospheric interludes, Sueuga conjures an ominous journey that invites us to contemplate the unresolved and incomplete areas of our histories that we may never understand.

The project will be followed by a “Remixed” EP including productions by Only Now, TAYHANA, EL PLVYBXY, and Lila Tirando A Violeta.

Over the past few years, Nahash and ABADIR have been sharing food recipes, the same sense of humour, and their love for 90's rave, Beth Gibbons, Sun Ra, and grilled lamb. They met last summer for the first time and enjoyed a B2B together during a label showcase in Fano, Italy. Their memories of and appreciation for 90’s and early 00’s Arabic pop music inspired their first collaboration on SVBKVLT. Marchadair is the distillation of the meaty club sound by both producers; ABADIR’s micro-edited audio sampling and surgical chopped percussions mixed with Nahash’s lavish dub techniques and hefty bass, all serving as the main ingredients for these 4 heavyweight tracks. To close the menu, the EP features remixes by Ehua and Toumba.

The track titles play on a symbolic link between both artists and their native languages, using French words that have morphed into Egyptian slang. This Franco-Egyptian mixture echoes the hybrid sound of the EP.

Shelter presents “Aveen” — the third installation in our genre-agnostic compilation series.

To follow up 2023’s “Feyrûse” and 2024’s “Mizgîn”, we have curated an emotionally charged collection of 17 tracks that press against the debilitating realities of life in the mid-2020s. The title stems from a Persian word meaning “pure” or “transparent” — signaling a search for unfiltered and sincere artistic expression in the midst of a social climate filled with smoke and mirrors.

“Aveen” features Shelter’s most international line-up to date, with music from 18 artists spread across 13 countries and 5 continents displaying their signature sounds shaped by their local scenes and cultures. 

Flowing through mutated shades of ambient, hypnagogic pop, trance, leftfield techno, neo-perreo, and GQOM — the compilation connects the myriad influences and mind-states of electronic musicians from nearly every corner of the world and tethers them together into a cathartic 17-track excursion.

Lo Que Queda, Vuelve ("What Remains, Returns") is the collaborative EP by Mexican producer LAO, founder of the label Éxtasis, and emerging London-born musician Other Islands.

Released via Terminal, the EP unfolds across its three tracks, weaving together an array of global sounds, from baile funk and ballroom through to dembow and grime, creating a genre-bending record built for the dancefloor.

LAO’s innovative take on experimental club music fuses with Other Islands' spectral UK sensibilities, channeling the cacophony and surrealist smog of Mexico City, their shared home. The record’s hybrid sound traces links back to sound-system aesthetics while looking forward to what’s ahead. Lo Que Queda, Vuelve embodies Terminal’s commitment to sonic exploration and cross-cultural exchange.
