Enlightenment (Satori) is to transcend the world of hesitation and acquire the truth.  Preparedness , testimony , testimony obtained. 
In Buddhism , enlightenment is synonymous with nirvana and liberation . 

Satori is a deep listening audiovisual event, fusing experimental music with visuals. DJs craft deep, carefully selected sets in clubs transformed into artistic audiophile dens. Accompanying the music is a visual installation featuring VJs operating multiple screens, creating a fully immersive experience.
Sit down, lean back and get ready to take the plunge into Deep Listening.

2019年、Contact Tokyoで私たちKatharsisクルーがオーガナイズするパーティに足を運んだことでテクノと彼女の出会いが始まった。その後、DJを本格的に始動し都内や野外パーティでプレイ。絶え間ない努力で実力と選曲眼を養う。今後の活躍が楽しみなDJの1人だ。

In 2019, she experienced techno when she visited a party organized by our Katharsis crew at Contact Tokyo. After that, she started DJing in earnest, playing in Tokyo and at outdoor parties. She has cultivated her ability and song selection skills through constant effort. She is one of the DJs we can look forward to seeing more of in the future.

  2004年よりキャリアをスタート。アーティスト活動を軸に、オーガナイザー・レーベルA&R・ブッキング等、現在は多角的にPSYCHEDELIC TECHNOを仕掛けるプロデューサーも担う。
2010年代、レトロゴアトランスのリバイバルブームを巻き起こしたMATSURIのブレーンとして世界的に注目される。
2015年から始動した「朝陽が昇る」を由来とする沖縄Agaitidaを主宰。世界遺産となったヤンバルを舞台に人生観を変える体験をテーマに東南アジアの掛け橋となる。
2016年、「波紋状の音と空間」をコンセプトにレーベル兼プロダクションLiquid Drop Grooveを発足、2020年のパンデミック中に脚光を浴びる。2021年には「天空の楽園」をコンセプトとした野外フェスEDEN 、DJ Nobuとシーンの変革に一石を投じるべくSPECTACLE、そして2023年はNESSが主軸のThe Gods Planetとバイナルレーベルをローンチ。テーマに沿ってPodcastや動画の配信など、テクノシーンに置いても異端児として根付く。
メインアクティビティとするDJでは、TECHNOだけに限らずジャンルの垣根を超えたシネマティック且つPSYCHEDELICなプレイで世界20ヶ国を渡り歩く。ネットラジオの絶対的な存在であるロンドンNTS Radioを筆頭に、世界のコアな層に届けるマニアックなプログラムにもミックスを提供。山頂瞑想茶屋とのプロジェクトYuta Chayaを始め、Liquid Drop Grooveから良質な楽曲リリースが多数控えている。

ーーDJ MIXはどちらで録音されたものですか？

代官山Debrisで録音させていただきました。スタジオとしても活用できて、DJ向きのホームスタジオとしては非常に優秀な機材環境です、かなり整っていて「素晴らしい」に尽きます！

ーーコンセプトがあれば聞かせてください。

僕のテクノは古いのではないか？、まずここに焦点を当てました。自分にとって新しい音楽をテクノのフォーマット内で探索、それを盛り込むのがコンセプトです。

例えば、序盤はハーフステップです、意外性ですよね。笑　他は、ディープすぎるハメより程よい心地良さを併せ持つインテリジェンスな音感を、四つ打ちではなく変拍子を意識的に取り入れる、トランシーの解釈を改める（僕は実際トランスシーンからきてるので、ここは僕なりにかなり苦戦したポイントです笑）もちろんバイナルに収録した楽曲も。今回はこんな感じでやってみました。余談ですと、12月中旬の香港でスローなベースに出会い、かなり刺激をもらったのでいつか表現できたらと思ってます。

2019年の北京ギグで、もし自身が好みであれば暗めのピークタイムテクノもできるようにならなくては〜というのを機に今のスタイルを取り込んでいき、アップデートを繰り返しハメ倒すプレイになっていった背景があるのですが、このミックスをキッカケに自分自身を振り返れましたし、年内に古いマインドセットを脱ぎ捨てる事ができて今はホッとしてます。

僕のやりたい事が流行りと真逆でも、自身を貫き通す美学があったのですが、2022年の開国の際に世界を体験できて、その中で僕の思想は「音楽的な可能性を狭めているのではないか？」ここに辿り着きました。好奇心を拡げて、もっと音楽に時間を注ぎたい、そう意気込んだ一発目のポッドキャストです。

ーー今後の活動、イベントがあれば教えてください。

2023年はクラブイベントをガンガンやっていくのを抱負にしていました、2024年は主催を控えていく予定です。レーベルワークにエネルギーを注ぎつつ、才能あるアーティストのサポートも兼ねてリリースを増やしていきたいですね。

自身でいうと、良質なポッドキャストが幾つか決まったので、そこで結果を出す事。あとは人見知りの克服でしょうか。。笑

Yo Nishijima(JP)

He has established a prominent presence within the Tokyo music scene, examining a singular sound from multiple perspectives and skillfully manipulating the auditory landscape. Raised in a musically inclined family and possessing a background as a trumpeter, he has cultivated a distinctive style, aptly termed "Unconscious Balearic" by esteemed music producer Yuki Kawamura. This unique approach shaped by his individual sensibilities, invites the audience into a singular worldview.
By seamlessly blending an array of sounds, ranging from house music to techno, he weaves an original narrative in his performances. Notably, in late 2020, he orchestrated the successful Crew Laboratory event at Womb Tokyo, fusing skating and music to acclaim, earning recognition as an adept organizer.
Daikanyama Débris serves as his headquarters, but the influence extends beyond Tokyo, reaching into Kansai region in 2021. Furthermore, the international community ensures a diverse and vibrant dance floor, drawing attendees from across the globe.

一つの音をあらゆる側面から見つめ、この世に存在するサウンドを縦横無尽に操る彼は、着実に東京のシーンに存在感を刻んできた。音楽一家のもと育ち、トランペッターとしての経歴も持つ。独自の感性で磨き上げたスタイルは、音楽プロデューサーのYuki Kawamuraから無自覚バレアリックと称され、唯一無二の世界観へオーディエンスをいざなう。ハウスミュージックからテクノまで、幅広い音を1プレイで混ぜ込み、オリジナルなストーリーを展開する。
2020年末にはWomb Tokyoにて、スケートと音楽を融合させたCrew Laboratoryを見事成功させ、オーガナイザーとしても認知されるようになる。
代官山Débrisをホームとし、都内各所のクラブ、バーの他、2021年には関西進出も果たす。
また彼のインターナショナルなコミュニティで、常にフロアはワールドワイドな人種で溢れかえる。
