From Pembrokeshire in Wales, Spurious Transients is the long time experimental music project of Gavin Lloyd Wilson, taking musical influences from the worlds of psychedelia, krautrock, jazz, electronica and the avant garde.
The name was originally inspired by a recalcitrant drum machine, but can be interpreted in several different ways, e.g. random bursts of noise, or the transient nature of the fluid line-up of the band (with Gavin being the only constant member). 

Most recently, on Saturday 3 August 2019, Spurious Transients made a rare live appearance at The 17th Dream Of Dr Sardonicus Festival Of Psychedelia in Cardigan, Wales. Performing as a trio, the line-up for this gig was Gavin Lloyd Wilson (bass, taishokoto, electronics), Gail Storr (vocals, guitar, theremin) and Andrew Lemmon (sax, clarinet). To coincide with the festival the band released a very limited lathe cut vinyl double A-sided single, “Vergesslichkeit”/”Remembering” which came together with a CD containing 16 bonus tracks from the archives.
Gavin has since been busily recording brand new Spurious Transients material, some of which is already set for release in 2020. A new album is also in the pipeline.

Kim Slade is a refreshingly honest singer/songwriter with eclectic influences from The Jam to The Streets. His infectious original songs are born from very real situations and delivered with pure conviction. 

The Brighton (UK) based soloist has shared the stage with first class artists including The Jam's Bruce Foxton,Turin Breaks and Starsailor touring at some of the UK's most notorious venues, including Glasgow's Barrowlands, DeMontfort Hall in Leicester and numerous O2 Academies.

Kim has earned UK radio play, including from BBC introducing where he was also featured live in session.
