At the root of a lot of my music is an appreciation for dub culture.

Over the past few years I've been experimenting with different dub formats and workflows. Of all the files and projects I could rescue I've compiled a selection of dub related tracks for your enjoyment.

Some of these tracks were made in very lo-fi settings and have a lot of analog and digital crunch to them. Don't expect state of the art contemporary pro-studio sound design, but allow your brain and body to sink into the vibe. I may not have done it perfectly, but I dub it my way ;-)

These tracks were made for chilling or dancing with caring and loving people. Don't confuse rastafari culture with smoking weed, care for your community and elders, care for nature, care for children and enjoy the dance.

This album is a global effort to connect the different tribes and scenes around the world to come to a more openminded and sustainable human society.

For easter 2021 ( on 4/4 this year) we release this new compilation with the best in tribal bass music as a dedication to the group and the entire scene and a way to cross international boundaries and bring together the world in a year of reconnection.

Tribal Bass is a mixture of genres ranging from styles using idm-ish breakbeats and fusion trip-hop over ethnic instrumentals, global trap to psy-dub, experimental bass and glitch-hop. It is known as a danceable downtempo style for psy-heads and nu-school hippies and is usually plaid at chill out or second stage areas in European psychedelic festivals, but it also hits the main stages in US, AU, NZ and Can. Panoptics is the virtual playground of @Hentopan108 (Be) and @Distalvision (Aus), in which they let their individual styles and inspirations collide into global creative collaborations. DistalVisions trance-inducing cold edged psy-tech style gets organically remixed into creamy lo-fi Tribal Bass by Hentopan and visa versa.

Dark Light is the second official EP of Panoptics in which they further explore and define their style of progressive dance and trance music for the global cyber-nomad generation.

Dark Light is a story of integration and balance, where dark and light meet, where life offers more than a single flat character story but is in fact a spectrum of multi-colored infinite light particles in which we navigate with an often confused or diffused mind. The album references tribal cultures and sci-fi movies and specifically the delusion of 'time' as a singular dimension, in order to create a timeless space for audio enjoyment and inner-space traveling.

He was stocked so I got to work. Been really applying myself to this to respect the original but also bring Eastern vibes and hard hitting wubs to it to bring a trap-like feel to it and still keep it's experimental roots."

A while ago I almost lost all my data... This motivated me to recover it and then start finishing some work that's been on my drive for too long.

This track started off as a live recording with an access virus Ti2 synth and a Roland SH01a synth and an Elektron Rithm drumcomputer.

I did a lot of editing and extra sounddesign to balance the feeling of a wild acid experience.

I dubbed the style "acid trap"' back in the day and I have more of these hardware experiences coming out soon.
