Nexthype #6 Comp Entry

To celebrate our 30th release on our deeper imprint, PHW Elements, we have the pleasure to bring back one of our long time favorites, the Spanish giant Dr. Avalance. Being with us in the past, creating 2 different remixes he now takes charge this week on his first appearance on the label, on original duty. His deep and driving act this time is baptized as “Avtomat”.

With sweet arrangements, and his blooming effects, he here builds a really deep and energetic production, that we do think is one to watch. He has a great and diverse style of producing, and always offers cool techniques and ideas, and we are as happy as ever to have the Spanish composer with us.

On remix duty we have the pleasure to bring on 2 brand new names on the label with the rising talent of Martin Berger bringing on his ideas to build the first interpretation. 

With a deep and melody driven stripped down production built, including rich vocal additions, smooth melodic arrangements and an overall great touch built up, he certainly are to take you on  fantastic musical journey.

The 2nd rework comes from one of the most promising names in the business, as Cairo and Egypt bound K Nass takes his twist on the original idea from Dr. Avalance. With a more energetic and driving production built, packed with a lot of wicked elements, he for sure takes us on a ride here, and bring one one for the club floors.

all in all we are super happy to bring these great artists, either back or making debuts on the label, and we can’t wait to have them back in our PHW Elements family again, but for now, enjoy this awesome release!

Mungo’s Hi Fi held a recording session with Sugar Minott in Glasgow in 2009, not knowing that he would sadly pass away six months later. This record features his raggamuffin vocal which has been complemented with Daddy Freddy at his growling best, which he was proud to record alongside his friend and mentor. 
The 12” features on one side Mungo’s Hi Fi’s original dubby smasher, which has been one of their most requested tracks since they started playing it out on dubplate. The other side is their first collaboration with Chimpo, who has pulled out all the stops to take the homage to Zinc’s Super Sharp Shooter to the next level. You need this record.
