Every now and then, Gianluca Felline vanishes without a trace somewhere deep in the Swiss forests and mountains—the untouched wild Alps. No calls. No texts. Turns out, he’s been jamming with extraterrestrials again.

This LP is the result: spacey grooves, organic high-tech analogue instruments, and a sound that’s firm but never harsh. Close your eyes, let the sounds take over, and you’ll find yourself in a place where time doesn’t exist—where moving rhythmically to music comes naturally, guided by curious frequencies from beyond.

Joining him on this mission are fellow astronaut friends Fedo, Gals, and Gudj—a new member of the cabin crew (you’ll definitely hear from him again soon)—along with Ollie Ballyn, helping steer this spacecraft deeper into the endless journey within your mind.

A very simple upgrade on one of the dance floors of a festival or a club can allow an outstanding new way to experiment electronic dance music via quadraphony. Luc Ringeisen as a solo live show + Unset Live (Luc Ringeisen and Lorenzo Chiabotti) can play up to 6 hours of a full analog quadraphonic surround live show.

Their concept is to bring surround into beloved dance music. Not an experimental concert type of event but actual “club music” in surround, executed in real time on analog drum machines, modular synthesizers and fully using all the possibilities offered by a quadraphonic set up.

Premiering their live show back in October 2018 at the Berlin legendary club Hoppetosse run by the team of the underground institution Club der Visionaere, on a quadraphonic setup made of what is considered by the connoisseurs as the best reproduction system ever made, 4 Martion Horns backed by a series of Martion Bullfrogs and of course a powerful sub-bass system. 

Thanks to forgotten quadraphonic audio techniques adapted to modern dance music, ‘Unset’ will be a pioneer dance record label releasing both quadraphonic and stereo music. The label will be launched by an album from Luc Ringeisen and then followed by releases from selected artists.

Being recorded in one of the few open-air locations in Vienna (Himmel und Wasser)due to Covid19, the dynamics of the set bring a lighthearted yet peppy vibe to any environment you might find yourself in.

For our seventh edition of our podcast series we welcome, French-Canadian selector, Daoust. Based out of Montreal, Daoust has been a fixture in the North American underground scene for a decade. His recent focus has been on new project, mini_malace, with there being a live component which is a combination of himself and friend Hooll. He is also A&R for labels Minimadelic and Archipel. 

The mix that he has composed is a relaxed tempo that is intricately designed full of flavours from artists such as Artifuel, Escu and Greenn.
