Woke up one morning with memories of loved ones and friends who were no longer here. I had the sudden realisation that once Im gone , who will remember me ? Yes I have loved ones, family and friends but what is my legacy ? Life is short, life is precious. I’ve had a great life and experiences but what have I accomplished and who will remember me once Im gone ? 


Cold whispers rise The wind does call 
A shadow walks where no one's tall 
Footsteps left Then gone too soon  

Footsteps in the snow They fade 
Gone before the light invades 
Once the snow melts Who will know I was here 
I let it show  

A fleeting print A fleeting name 
The frost won't hold It plays no game 
Each step I take Erased again  

I write my story Line by line
