Emerging from North Bay, Ontario, Union Native launched his musical journey as a DJ around the year 2000. His dynamic performances quickly caught the attention of promoters and club owners, establishing him as a natural talent in the vibrant music scene. Recognizing the need for a unique sound experience, he founded Voltentertainment, which rapidly became one of the most sought-after First Nations acts in Northern Canada.

With over 200 performances spanning the country from North Bay to Prince Rupert, Union Native has shared the stage with notable artists such as the award-winning Joey Stylez, Hallucination (A Tribe Called Red), Lancelot Knight, and Winnipeg’s Most. His versatility extends beyond music; he showcased his acting skills as "Richard Hyde Finch" in Norm Foster's play, *Opening Night*, and appeared in the film *Autumn Springs*.

Union Native's career took an exciting turn when he accepted a residency as a DJ for the Winnipeg Jets' farm team. During the pandemic, he brought joy to the community by founding The Social Distance Karaoke group, demonstrating his commitment to uplifting spirits through music.

In 2024, he embraced a new chapter as a frontman and vocalist, self-producing two impactful tracks: “Native Union” and “Master Plan.” Currently residing in British Columbia, he is collaborating with producer Joseph LaPlante. Together, they have released the poignant track “Ogichidaa - Feeling Better” and are set to unveil a new EP later this year. Union Native continues to push boundaries, blending his rich heritage with contemporary sounds, solidifying his status as a rising star in the Indigenous music landscape.
