The Washington DC native started off her career working as a marketing intern and office manager at Interview Magazine. In 2013 she began freelancing for various online music publications where she interviewed a number of artists from Kid Ink, G-Eazy and Musiq Soulchild to Joey Badass, Fabolous and Wale. Over the years Unique has also worked for CBS Radio, New York Based Public Relation firm Media Hunter PR, and Digital agency 740 Project assisting in the creating digital strategies for Brandy, K. Michelle, Young Thug, Kevin Gates, Migos and many more. Currently Unique serves as the producer for Hot 97 and DJ Enuff’s freestyle series The Hot Box, the NYC correspondent for urban women entertainment brand TheYBF.com, and works in programming for 107.5 WBLS. Unique is also the host and creator of the podcast ‘Dear Black Girl’ and the social media based movie review show ‘Unique Reviews.’
