RACH B2B King Chuga for the first hour then Tommy Badman takes control for the second hour.

Tommy Badman has been a good friend of RACH & King Chuga for over 10 years now and has been part of the Unity Underground crew since the beginning so it was only right to get him on our live stream. Tommy's sets are always on the harder side of Jungle and Drum & Bass and his debut set on our live stream is no different. Tommy will be closing the night playing the final set of the night for our first live event in September.

We had a few technical issues during the stream which meant that the video footage was corrupt so was sadly taken down from our YouTube page.

I know that music can neither heal nor prevent the decades-long existing global sick capitalism, consumption, politics, lobbyism, corruption, systems, society/s that are sick of it, nor the imminent climate collapse resulting from all these causes. But what it can heal and fill up wonderfully I know: hearts and souls - even empty, cracked, damaged and discarded ones. And that completely free of charge. Unbelievable nowadays...what is also clear: we will never be enough people to be able to break the capitalist climate-damaging sick system globally in time, now it has been really too late for too many years gone by. I live against this system as far as my framework as a system-dependent taxpayer allows me to do so. Music is an enormously important part of it. We should tune in together to the inevitable real climate collapse. With happy hearts & souls filled to the brim with music, contentment & love. Only then will the demise of our livelihoods be bearable for us all.

War, natural disasters, politics, violence, protests, riots, injustices, attacks, terror and much more. Back then, compared to today, it was all relatively completely unfiltered, clean and completely free of any media and political fake news manipulation and twisted propaganda. All the  pseudo massiv CAPITALISTIC problems, much more its numerous symptoms of illness such as "burn outs", "social media", "depression", "shortage of skilled labour", "housing shortage", with manipulation, fake news, advertising, capitalistic, political influence soaked "media", or topics such as "urban gardening", "gentrification", immigration, all that "self-love, self-worth, what is happiness, the search for the self" madness, "gender", LGBT, "metoos". ... didn't exist back then or were healthy, normal, simple, clean. And yes, people's worries and fears back then were the same as now, just as real, normal, simple BUT FREE from any capitalist distortion, self-promotion, exaggerated and inflated hyperbubbles. Without the very large, constantly spreading epidemic of capitalism, there would probably be less than 40%? of all these problems on our planet, and a global negative climate collapse would never have been an issue. Religion does not affect our climate alone, but in numerous religious political disputes harms people beside climate, nature and all living creatures the most.

Sat 15th November, Unity Underground return to FORGE Warehouse, Sheffield to celebrate their 2nd birthday with a HEAVY line-up!

Born in Konya in 1974. Acid house, 1987, was his first step into electronic music. He played at various local radio stations and parties between 1994-2005. Currently he does not actively play as a dj but he is a devoted follower of electronic music. He likes to play and listen to techno, dark techno,hard techno, drum&bass, jungle, drumfunk, hardstyle, gabber, speedcore, breakcore etc..

Long time junglist soldier and vinyl hoarder. Old enough to witness the birth of the sound :)

Mark Andrew has been mixing since the early nineties and is a keen vinyl purist, collector and aficionado of all things electronic music.

Mark first got into DJing in 1991 after listening to Carl Cox and Stu Allen on Key 103 the year before and started buying records then also.

He then put on his own night on in the  Apollo Dance Club  in 1993 and has DJ`d at numerous nights over the years including

The Lemon Lounge, Goosebumps, Coconut Grove, Wooky hollow & Save The Jungle to name a few. He has also Dj'd in the free party scene in wales playing upfront techno to the masses,
 
He had his own weekly radio show on Trax Radio for 7 years, before that was guest most weeks on Seven Waves Radio Wirral. 

Mark prefers to mix on vinyl as its an adrenaline rush being on the edge of messing the mix up but has embraced the digital side of things.

Mark has rekindled his deep down love for jungle and hardcore music recently, after him first starting off DJing all them years ago with these genres, 

Mark has also always prided himself on being a multi-genre DJ, house, techno, breakbeat, jungle ,and the early hardcore sound.
