Born in London, Mark Day was surrounded by music growing up, either playing on the radio which was always on or listening to the soundtracks of video games.
During his teenage years he discovered a whole new world of electronic music, starting with trance and delving into many of the subgenres; he was in love.
After some years of searching the internet he came across the term 'psychedelic music' - the name intergued him so he decided to dig deeper which culminated in him finding an underground psytrance party in London by luck in late 2007.
After a year of going to parties he started to DJ at them and a couple more years later he started to produce his own music.
His psytrance music can be characterised by having a lot of sounds with layers of atmospheres over the top, always driving and with some psychedelic wizardry inside.
Having been lucky enough to have played his music around the world and continuing to do so, he is currently working on his debut album which will be released 'at the right moment'
He is also a listener, collector and occasional producer of downtempo music and has done various mixes throughout the years which have been mainly distributed to close friends.
Mark is also big fan of experimental psychedelic music and he will play this kind of selection in his 2 hours DJ set at Unity

♦ Experimental Psychedelic Music Open Air in years 2018-2024

♦ OUR STORY:
– In the years 2018-2024, we carried out 6 editions of the festival in Poland and 2 editions (Teaser and Afterparty) in cooperation with Art of the Heart crew in Israel.
– We organized the 3rd edition in 2020 spontaneously completed the preparations in just 3 weeks (as one of the few festivals in Europe) taking advantage of the removal of pandemic restrictions
– The first work on the 2024 edition began in 2019 (5 years in the making), and it was intended from the very beginning to present participants with a completely different dimension of audio/visual experience, unseen anywhere before.
– Polish editions took place in 4 different locations.
– Apart from the first edition addressed to the Polish audience, approximately 80-90% of the guests came from all over the world, which gave Unity the rank of an international event, never seen before in our country.
– During 6 national editions, we organized 6 different music label nights (Painted Chaos,@minutelessrecordings , @postmodernmusic.pmm , @labyrinthinecrew , @anomalistic_records , @geometric_corruption )
– 139 projects from 22 different countries performed at our events ( 10 from outside Europe) including 8 worldwide debuts
– We had the opportunity to test 5 different soundsystems (F1 & Funktion1 EVO @soundsupportpro__ , Huracan Acoustic @sednaultrasonicsoundsystem , Lambda Labs QX-3 & TX-3 @kollektivtontechnik )
– All editions ended with a financial loss to a greater or lesser extent (the total amount invested in the project was approximately EUR 70,000)
– This year’s edition and its attendance showed that within just 6 years it was possible to create a completely new community in the field of psychedelic music from scratch, and an unusual concept based on the repertoire from the freshest subgenre of psychedelic music (to put it simply – 100% EXPERIMENTAL) is slowly becoming a new trend among festivals worldwide.

Pouy is the DJ project of Pouyan, label DJ of Ulterior Motive Productions. Pouyan has traveled to many places and been inspired by the digital sonic world since an early age. Goa was his home, where his passion for sound deepened, drawing from the energy and creativity around him. Along his journey, organizing parties and immersing himself in diverse musical landscapes allowed him to collect a rich array of unique sounds from various
psychedelic trance artists. His sets are versatile, guiding listeners through multiple variations of dark psy and exploring different facets of experimental sounds.
