La primera vez que escuche marikotekno fue en la hecatombe, me hizo mucho sentido y lo traspase al discurso musical que dio sentido a los temitas que me hacían bailar, la admiración por la cultura Ballroom y los sonidos de impactos y claps  energéticos me robaron el paso de baile, el sonido del club latino lleva a conectar con el dembow en un tempo duro, y así redundante en la atmósfera creativa del ritmo:o

Alongside his performances, Kallax continues to evolve through his studio work, with releases on Blush Recordings, Kusiya, PointNemo, Reveries, Arkna, Hidden Shoal, and more.

For the inaugural EP, FOLD resident Gareth Wild @eartoground presents ‘Common Assault’. With metallic tubular synthesis, cut-throat percussion and rolling rhythms, this EP is an effective and essential piece of material demonstrating all angles of Techno, immersive to peak-time. 

The release features three original tracks and two locked grooves from Gareth with stripped back, dark-side remix work from Madrid’s very own @RollDann. 

Featuring bespoke, full colour cover art by designer Lion Sauterleute and pressed up on coloured neon wax the release lands 2nd of October at all good outlets.
