The Spanish PARALEL (@paralel_mind) is back on the label with his second EP titled ‘Electric’. The EP consists of two signature and colorful originals in collaboration with vocalist Davide Famularo. As an addition to these originals, we are very glad to welcome Angelov (@angelovmusic) and Carlo Whale (@carlowhale) to the label with two divergent, but great remixes.

The first track of the release is ‘Electric’. The dynamic arrangement takes you on a trip which starts off with the calming vocals of Davide, after which the rhythmic synthwork leads itself into the break while giving a euphoric feeling. From there the track works slowly to the final part of this lively piece, going up again towards the end of the track.

In his remix of ‘Electric’, Angelov gave it his signature twist. The energy level goes up from the start immediately. He managed to use the vocals in such a way the whole feeling of the vocals changed. Nevertheless, they still fit perfectly to the elements taken from the original. Throughout the composition a quite fierce characteristic synth comes through, giving the remix some extra roughness.

The third track is titled ‘Nothing is Real’. In this one, PARALEL also created a flamboyant play between the calming vocals and the rhythmic snynthwork. This play works towards quite a tight drop, after which the organic percussion comes up again, forming a very danceable unity with a darker undertone. 

Carlo Whale turned the focus a bit more towards the vocals in his remix of ‘Nothing Is Real’ and gave it modern melodic techno surroundings. In this way the vocals come out more ecstatic. In combination with the dreamy lead, the remix became uplifting and romantic at the same time.

These two producers and Djs have been releasing and playing music since 2009, showing during all those years their peculiar music style... walking though all different faces of Progressive House & Techno.

The first track of the EP is made in collaboration with spanish producer and label boss INTEGRAL BREAD @integralbread , who brings his skills and genuine elements in a great symbiosis with the argentinian duo.

D.J. MacIntyre's SLC-6 Music opens the month of August by presenting the sixteenth edition of their SIX:Stage-X compilation series. At just over four years into its existence, the beloved various artists showcase continues to search the globe for the freshest new talent that the electronic underground has to offer, oftentimes featuring a cohesive blend of progressive and melodic techno styles. SIX: Stage-16 follows suit and lands in impressive fashion with exclusive music from (in order of appearance) Rockka, Neuralis, NAASA, Redspace, Franco Romano and Maraudon. Leading the release off is Rockka who returns to the label following his remix of 'EsQadar' by Dr Green and Moodfreak. The Sri Lankan's latest is entitled 'Black Sands' and sets a strong tone for the release with a groovy style and dark yet electrifying storyboard. Selection two finds Neuralis making his label debut with the chugging grooves of 'Arritmia'. The Spanish artist crafts a chunky, rhythmic journey which flows through peaks and valleys to translate a goosebump-inducing narrative to the dance floor. Label debutantes NAASA arrive to SLC-6 Music in grand fashion with 'Perfect Time', a track which finds the duo showcasing their heartfelt melodies and poignant designs to great effect. Marking the collection's halfway point is Redspace who also makes an impressive first solo effort for SLC-6 with '1994'. Well-established with releases via Droid9 and Univack, the fast rising artist delivers a modern day progressive chugger, highlighted by ghostly tones and an earnest piano line which perfectly sets up a dark drop. Fresh off releases for Beat Boutique and MNL, Franco Romano delivers selection five 'Parallel Universe'. The Argentine's stompy beats and key changing bass stabs provide a sturdy dancefloor framework, while a tantalizing melodic lead adds depth and colour throughout. The release concludes with newcomer Maraudon presenting his first official production 'Orea'. As a strong debut it rounds out the release with a perfect blend of techno inspired beats, trippy effects and a tension filled break to set up a heads down finale.

With more than 300 tracks released in labels like Yoshitoshy, Armada, Suara, Stereo, Global Underground, OKO, Beatfreak, etc. A pioneer of many trends in electronic music in Spain, Ismael has been always at the vanguard in his style, since the Progressive House which became fashionable during his stage as residency at “Space Of Sound” for 12 years to the most select Melodic House & Techno that distinguishes his sets nowadays.

This time, Ismael presents two tracks in collaboration with also experienced Spanish dj & producer PRESSURIZED @pressurized_official , who has been showing his Melodic Techno facet for the last year.

This EP contains two different versions of 'Under Pressure', by also Spanish producers Th3 Oth3r and 2Qimic @2qimicdjs . A great way to close this strong release.
