Allies for Everyone returns to the label for his 4th release. His last outing back in May of 2021 was received to high acclaim - with huge support from the big boy brigade at the time. With his long-awaited return to ICONYC, Allies supplies us with a slice of early summer vibes aptly named 'Takes All Kinds' which additionally is also the theme song of the upcoming ICONYC TV documentary series on Netflix. 

The original of 'Takes All Kinds', delivers 80's stimulated vibes while encapsuling you with warm and soothing sounds, complemented by a smooth edge and some nicely effected sounding elements. We basically have the formula for a bit of a monumental outing. The harmonies and Allies exceptional vocals are the key here, as this restrained gem works its magic while it plays away, creating a warm glow, creating an air of sophistication. A classy homecoming from Allies for Everyone.

German deep house superstar Oliver Schories delivers a trademark deep electronica-soaked rework with infectious chords, laidback drums and smooth breakdown. His remix twists effortlessly throughout, while Allies' moody vocals sit wonderfully on top adding an extra layer of depth. It's all about the groove, cool vibes and the suave beats that are working their magic around Oliver's wonderfully arranged keys that create an irresistible vibe while taking the mind on a trip. 'Outstanding stuff'!!!

Next up are St.Peterburg's favorite sons Space Food, known for their melodic sound, keep the ethereal theme of the original alive, as the pulsating bass powers along, before its drum fills and general warmth all combine to do the talking. Like something from yesteryear, yet sounding fresh - This mystical touch up takes the energy levels up a notch, but increases the melancholy with stripped back and lucid elements at the same time, before the luscious pads grace the rework changing the vibe and creating a blanket of warmth that wraps around the effected groove.

With 'Takes All Kinds' Allies for Everyone really shows that there're no boundaries, as this beautiful gem guides you to a full-on melodic hug of a release that will cause many smiles induced moments! Following this year’s acclaimed singles ‘Presence’ and ‘Colors of Life’, as well as the upcoming ‘Silk & Fur’ (out September 19), ‘Aelle’ is a masterfully woven collection of tracks that balances the intensity of the dance floor with the intimacy of personal listening. Across twelve tracks, OXIA crafts an evocative sonic palette where melodies and grooves intertwine with moments of emotion, elegance, and timeless beauty. 

Speaking about the upcoming album, OXIA commented: “As with my previous albums, I let my creativity run free once again, without setting limits. I wanted to bring together everything I love about electronic music – groove, melodies, emotion, intensity – and blend them with calmer, more reflective tracks”. 

‘Aelle’ also highlights OXIA’s collaborative spirit, featuring contributions from long-time friends and creative partners. Faces sees him reunite with label co-founder Nicolas Masseyeff, while ‘Silk & Fur’ and ‘On The Trip’ see him team up with Yannick Baudino. The album also welcomes compelling vocal performances from Hen Wen (Calling The Sun) and Hacène (Silk & Fur).
