Illusionary Images 100 (Mar 2020) - Best of Illusionary Images

On 4th of July Saturday, I finally got around to recording an Uplifting Trance set I've been working on and playing around with for the past few months, so it felt great to dust off the decks after what seemed like eons of disuse during the pandemic and all the endless lonely self-isolation and boredom. I don't know about you guys, but being able to escape into my little world of electronic dance music has definitely been my guiding light that has helped me get through these bleak times. I hope it does for you too, and that's exactly why I am posting this, in hopes that this journey through the uplifting and euphoric sounds of Trance helps someone out there in some way, even if it's only just one person, it would still be worth the effort to me. As usual, for this set I scoured my collection and spent many hours listening to tracks on podcasts and Beatport to refine it down to this list. It also features a classic selection produced by a buddy of mine in the UK who also happens to be my sound technician who sound levels all my mixes and adds the voice ID's, Chris Dececio, also known as Redd Square. This track was produced back in 2012 and still sounds amazing by today's standards, one of my fave tracks on the set for sure. Thought I would entitle this one "Arise" as we all reinvent ourselves and arise from this calamity called COVID-19, like the proverbial phoenix's from the flames haha!
