Maintaining a "Stronghold" over the underground dance scene, Tim Brandwijk's Embliss production guise has presented a hallmark of quality since a 2007 debut. Friend and vital cog within the finely tuned Proton machinery, Embliss' April 2013 EP was a highlight in the year's release schedule as "Stronghold (Remixed)" now graces the Proton Music portfolio with contributions from the USA and Romania.

Hailing from Boston but currently residing in Los Angeles, Kerry Leva, has been a revelation since bursting onto the progressive scene in 2009. An accomplished pianist and songwriter from an early age, majoring in Music Synthesis at Berklee College of Music thrust a rapidly developing producer into the limelight as subsequent vocal collaborations with the likes of Matt Lange, Andrew Bayer and Ad Brown immediately opened a door into the world of dance floor success. Not solely content with contributing her considerable vocal talents, Leva's own production credentials have shone brightly since 2012 with a host of remixes and original works signed to Anjunadeep, Enhanced and Black Hole. Recent work for Nuevadeep has developed a deeper side to Leva's production character as both "You Lied" and "This Isn't Right" have gone on to receive remix treatments from superstars Him_Self_Her and newcomer, Kiwamu.

Debuting on Proton Music, Kerry Leva's remix is full of the trademark production qualities that have made the American such a sought after artist. Subtle piano melodies, rich in harmonic resonance, drift atop a rolling percussive groove that shifts in urgency as hi-hats and shakers adorn the four-to-the-floor anchor. Carefully teasing out vocal sentiments from Embliss' original work, an additional sparkling arpeggio and deep sustained bass create a work of supreme skill and sensitivity.

Whether creating ambient, lounge, dub or deep house through a wide range of production guises, Romanian, Addex, is no stranger to the underground music scene. Schooled in the art of appreciation by such artists as Depeche Mode, Royksopp and Faithless, Addex's desire to see his craft delivered to an expectant audience, has seen over 400 production credits appear next to his name, featuring on such luminary imprints as Acryl Music, Etoka and Solid Fabric Industries. A veritable feast of original music to his name including several full-length albums, support from Evren Ulusoy, Matt Darey and Terry Lee Brown Jr. has seen Addex's work heard across the globe.

Long-time Proton friend, a host of original and remix work for the Apollo label - including 2012's sublime "Killing Krazy" EP - has been supplemented by a pair of remixes of Juan Deminicis and Colourblock for Proton Music, while the "Limitation" show on Proton Radio continues to grow from strength to strength. Returning to Proton for a third remix, Addex's interpretation of "Stronghold" sees a closer symmetry to the original as Embliss' bass groove flows throughout in all its glory. Melodic motifs tempered slightly, Addex's penchant for deep house flavours are immediately evident as effortless percussive flair underpins the rich reverbs and delays that develop seductively across a rich rhythmic landscape.

Further remix treatments from Kerry Leva and Addex has ensured that Embliss still retains a vital "Stronghold" in the dance floor community.

Following his "Hill / In Your Heart" EP on Silk Music, a collaboration with Bring Bliss, Russian producer Pavel Denisov is back with a 4-track EP, "Misterium".

The title track takes off with a deep and hypnotizing groove, later accompanied by intriguing female vocal stems. Throughout the song, numerous subtle melodic additions provide extra texture that mixes perfectly with the lush vocal effects. A rather mesmerizing atmosphere is quickly established in "Caldera", featuring a strong groove and powerful bassline notes. Light melodies and lush sound effects add an extra level of detail to the song. In "Dream Of You", we witness a soothing soundscape with an incredibly funky groove and refreshing vocal lines. Rounding out the release, "Continuum" features a hypnotic groove and dramatic sound effects, as well as evocative synth elements.

Following his work with Swedish label Comorbid Records, Stockholm native Bård Ericson aka boerd has signed with Anjunadeep to release his latest mini-album, ‘Static’, on April 6th 

An accomplished musician, Bård’s boerd project aims to reflect his own personal emotions and atmosphere. With a deft and delicate approach to composition, his music draws you in whilst shutting out the outside world.

Cutting his teeth from age 15 in the world of chiptune (composing via the means of 16-bit videogame consoles), Bård quickly developed a taste for creating abstract music. And after a handful of EPs and live shows across Europe, he transitioned focus towards music that he felt better expressed his own place in the world. Enter ‘boerd’.

With influences ranging from Burial, Bibio and even Aphex Twin, the 26-year-old has developed a style that pushes the boundaries of atmospheric electronica with stunning attention to detail. Building his sound from samples he records himself, Ericson conjures a euphoric mix of subtle soundscapes that simultaneously breathe and play in awe.

More than an insular producer, Bård takes influence from his career playing double bass with the Swedish Royal Opera, Swedish Radio Symphony and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestras. His experience as a player in a significantly larger ensemble gives his music a unique vision and his arrangements a focus not easily realized by the typical bedroom producer.

His first work since signing with Anjunadeep, ‘Static’ is compiled of six meticulously crafted tracks. Amongst the release’s many highlights are the two vocal-led singles ‘Blind’ and ‘Void’. The former sees Bård debut his own vocals while on the latter the producer teams up with friend and fellow professional musician and producer, Ellen Arkbro. 

Speaking of the release, Bård explains, “’Förgängligt’ is a Swedish word that best translates to ‘transient’. For me, the songs on ‘Static’ are about this feeling - about relationships that never happened, about the ones that did happen but faded away, about both hard times and nice moments in my life that I’ve almost forgotten. Sometimes it feels like I’m stuck in a static blur of memories. The sounds and melodies in ‘Static’ makes the memories come alive a little bit, and I hope other people will have the same feeling.”

Launched in London in 2005, Anjunadeep has evolved into one of electronic music’s leading labels with almost 350 singles under its belt along with a string of iTunes #1 Dance / Electronic albums from artists such as Dusky, Lane 8, Cubicolor and Moon Boots. The label has also built an ever-increasing reputation for touring and hosting festival stages around the world all the while picking up a steady stream of coverage from publications like the New York Times and Wall Street Journal, as well as leading industry press such as Pitchfork and Resident Advisor.

Luttrell returns to Anjunadeep with his first release of 2018, the three track ‘Intergalactic Plastic EP’. Following his acclaimed single ‘Contact’ which was heavily supported by Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1, Luttrell now showcases his peak-time sound across three melodic cuts. Luttrell plays 20 dates across North America to celebrate the release, supporting Above & Beyond and Lane 8 on their respective album tours.
