As a fresh faced newcomer to the dance scene in 2020, Mr Licka set about unleashing his unique brand of bush prog with juggernaut Melbourne label Universal Tribe Records. This collaboration sparked a symbiotic melding of thoughtful curation and a dual evolution aimed at delivering quality Australian psytrance.

Now in his 3rd year with the label, Mr Licka is once again greasing the cogs for yet another release with his EP ’Imaginarium’. A 4 track prog journey conjured from the cerebral landscape and ushered forth into 3D reality. All tracks have been meticulously crafted using the power of imagination and incubated in the digital nursery.

Mr Licka is sure to set the feet stomping and the mind racing with intangible delight as he guides u through the imaginarium and deep into the vortex of the psychedelic gift shop.

“From 2016-2022 I was just using this page (originally titled "Tryptamang") to show my amateurish experimentations/demo's using Ableton intro, a 2012 Macbook & ATH-M40x’s. In 2023 (After losing this first laptop to old age along with almost all my pre 2021 projects) I've finally obtained a fresh MacBook & Ableton suite so now plan to single handedly produce, mix, master & release my multi-genre debut album! Sensi Freak präsentiert seine Musik unter dem Label: To many Words, welchem er im May 2015 beitrat. Seit 2012 produziert Julian Zangerl alias Sensi Freak elektronische Musik. Anfangs war es Ambient Sound später dann eher Goatrance, mittlerweile fliessen immer häufiger Minimal/Techno Elemente mit ein. Er produziert mit Ableton Live. Das DJing mit CD's oder am PC ist machbar es fehlt jedoch noch an Perfektion in Sachen Effekte, er spielt am liebsten Progressive Trance und Techno. Früh interessierte er sich für Musik und lernte so Keyboard, akustische Gitarre und später E-Gitarre spielen.

Amaluna is the cosmic collaboration of New Zealand-born Tara aka FlibbertiGibbet and Zimbabwean-born Wendy aka Małpka who first connected on the electric dance floors of London’s vibrant psytrance scene. 

Shattered Barriers promoter Abhi Trance first booked them to play a back-to-back set at his event in April 2017 and they enjoyed it so much they decided to do it again in September for top London night Tribal Village at the Steelyard, where they played a high energy closing set in the second room. This confirmed that they were definitely on to something good, and so Amaluna was officially launched at Astral Circus at London’s Electrowerkz in November 2017, where they closed the alternative room after one of their favourite producers Ben Coda.

2018 saw them make their main room debut at Tribal Village, warm up the Sunshine Deck at the Psymera Boat Party and play an epic three sets at Noisily Festival, where they warmed up for Saturday’s Zenon takeover on the Liquid Stage and managed to blag a second set between Breger and Evil Oil Man after the third DJ didn’t turn up – sharing the stage with their all-time musical idols Grouch and Sensient in the process. They capped the day off with a downtempo set at the Bassport FM stage, where they played a few of their favourite bass tracks.

A multi-genre duo with an interest in the experimental evolution of music, they love breaking musical boundaries with eclectic tracks to drive the dance floor to new levels. The diversity of their combined tastes unites psychedelic bass lines, glitchy melodies and quirky compositions to create something truly unique.

Thanks to their passion for seeking out and sharing new sounds, they transmit a powerful energy from the decks to the dance floor. Signed to Free-Spirit Records, after releasing their ‘Lunar Phase’ compilation and playing at some of their favourite parties & festivals such as Astral Circus, Tribal Village, World Lounge Project, the Psymera Boat Party, Planet Shroom, Psy-Sisters, Noisily, Indigenous and Anthropos Festivals, they’re still buzzing from playing at the awe-inspiring Tribe of Frog stage at Boomtown Fair this summer alongside some of their favourite DJs and producers.

Odyssee Berlin marks Amaluna’s European debut and they’re putting together an extra-special set that showcases their eclectic sounds to welcome in the New Year!

Founded in Melbourne in 2013, Universal Tribe Records has grown from deep underground roots into a globally respected imprint, predominantly focusing on Bush Prog, Deep Daytime, and Psychedelic Techno. I've just started my exploration into EDM in 2022. I've found my genre that vibes with me so far is psy trance. I am open to the venture of seeking out and finding new electronic vibes. I'm sure I'm only scraping the top surface of a deep well of incredible energy!
