Universal Tribe Records is pleased to have teamed up with Rico as one of the latest DJs to have been signed to the label. Based in New Zealand, Rico will be pumping the UTR catalogue that's now available for his exclusive use, dropping them at a variety of festivals that he's regularly playing at. 

With this announcement, we're pleased to share 'Aotearoa', his first set that represents the beginning of our journey through sound.

Aotearoa challenges the name New Zealand—and pushes for a return to the Maori name for the land, Aotearoa. Co-leader of the Māori Party, Rawiri Waititi, “Aotearoa is a name that will unify our country rather than divide it."

This is the set I played for the Rise and Align event on 13/04/24. I had the amazing opportunity of taking over the Headliner (Herba) so I had to bring the grooves to keep the crowd going pas laisse frais bnela p dire. The energy and response of the crowd was ecstatic; it was a pleasure playing for this amazing crowd and making you guys groove. I had to set the mood right with an intro song by local legend  Ken zo - Lost Reality.

Mr Licka  is at it again with a two hour, daytime bush-prog journey thronged with mind-bending sound design and spiritual aura.
