Lorenz Linder, the Leipzig based DJ and producer better known as Mix Mup has consolidated a strong identity of records over his 20 years of releasing music, building a stellar reputation of crafting creative abstracted groovers and house music with minimal embellishments. We caught up Linder to discuss taking his Molto alias on the road, his passion for building musical based sculptures and his 3rd solo EP for Will Bankhead's The Trilogy Tapes. Reflecting his current November mood, this hour-long Truancy Volume demonstrates the off-kilter and rhythmically devious nature of a Mix Mup record to a tee. A familiar and gratifying territory for those who have regularly followed his solo work and collaborations alongside frequent co-conspirator Kassem Mosse, the mix opens with a track from Mix Mup's forthcoming Trilogy Tapes EP, before ruggedly detailing into tracks from Benjamin Brunn, unreleased Even Tuell, past Truancy Volume mixers Space Afrika and local Leipzig talent CFM.

Category 4 is a monthly broadcast concept from Michael Brunner [ @four4 ] for Great Circles Radio.

Each episode is broken into four segments, which are connected in some fashion, but routinely unique in many others. This allows for the drawing of comparisons between otherwise disparate concepts, while simultaneously creating enough creative restrictions to focus the musical selections.

baze.djunkiii – a long standing purveyor of 'original DJ culture and a DJ's DJ not only in terms of staying true to the doctrine of playing 100% vinyl and dubplates for a reason. Also head and founding father of the Intrauterin Recordings label group which launched back in 1999 as a mothership for 'quality [electronic] music' without any stylistic borders.

Radio Flouka-resident baze.djunkiii is back with a treat for this months show which also is his first ever full on Electro selection for the station. Opening with a very special and super rare lathe cut version of „Time Is An Abyss“ by long standing electronic music producer Lagowski  baze.djunkiii works his way from cold, futuristic Electro tunes with a slighty abstract twist towards uplifting, positive and hyperchromatic dancefloor anthems to heavy 808s and Breakdance infused future classics and well beyond. Watch out!
