A recording of Nick Klein's live set at Actual Size, held this past December at Trans Pecos (Queens, NYC). 

We had only recently met at the infamous Churchill's Pub in Miami and, since we had ties in music and a good friend in common, he kindly agreed to play. The night of Actual Size he had just returned home from touring, right in time to perform a sonic bending set to start off our evening. 

Nick is a Brooklyn based musician who has releases on Bank, LIES, Alter and Primitive Languages.

Nick Klein - Actual Size 12.10.16

A recorded dj set of Romulo Del Castillo, head of Schematic Music out of Miami, half of the duo Phoenecia, musical influence and dear friend of mine. Rom came to NYC this past December with a crate of vinyl and a mission to drop the bass on Brooklyn+Queens alongside BMG, Ken Meier and other sonic heroes. 

This mix is an extended set with the tracks he played at Actual Size - plus more bass and electro goodies from his collection, recorded live in San Fran at IDP. His dj sets don't get recorded often so this is special, believe dat!

Romulo Del Castillo - Actual Size 12.10.16

A recording of BMG's dj set from Actual Size, a party which took place this past December in NYC. 
During these 2 hours it felt as if time stopped while he lead us through moods and rhythms with a strong dose of musical knowledge and dark magic. Hopefully this transmission takes you where we went that night.

BMG founded the Interdimensional Transmissions label in Detroit and is half of the duo Ectomorph. I met him in Miami a while ago, probably when he played at Swamp Thing during WMC, when the Detroit/Miami connections were strong. Since then we've kept in touch and he continues to be a musical influence, so I was thrilled he accepted the invitation to come and play a night alongside other artists I consider sonic heroes.

Playing between the sets of Romulo del Castillo and BMG that night, Ken threw down his discerning mix of fun and challenging, new and classic techno that kept us on our feet. @ken-meier is a Chicago raised, NY based dj and designer.
