OneThabs, Bulawayo born, East London resident, Piano Love DJ and Groove connoisseur. Took a rather much complex journey into the world of DJing. During the first pandemic when the world was locked dons and silent, is when he experimented into the DJing foray. It’s during the night time when he would play on Insta Live that friends and strangers encouraged him to push on and having always been interested in music and nightlife, this was the perfect time to practice away from the noise and pressure in a world locked away. You’ll find him playing a soulful set of Amapiano, heavily influenced in vocals and singalongs that transport you away from the dancefloor into a trance of self enjoyment. His love for house music is where you’ll experience a mixture of deep, Afrohouse and Afrotech sounds influenced by the sounds of Black Coffee and Black Motion that’ll keep you stomping through the dancefloor and night away. 

With over five years of fully committing to the journey of music, OneThabs has been a resident DJ for Piano Love UK and Status100 Pr, an event introduced during one of the many pandemic relaxation of era. OneThabs has graced the biggest Amapiano events and venues in London such as Piano People at Here At Outernet, Ministry of Sound and EggLDN to mention a few with electric sets that have left revellers in awe.  

OneThabs has enjoyed some international exposure playing in Scotland, Spain and Africa. 

With many highlights which have included crowd moving B2B’s sets at No Signal’s Diaspora Dance at Hackney Colour Factory and Ministry of Sound blowing the  audience and decks with a hi tempo, nostalgic, Afrohouse and AfroTech house music performance.
