Ashrith Baburao’s lifelong relationship with music and technology began in 1994 when, at just three years old, he first explored the wonders of computing. That early fascination evolved into a creative calling, leading him to co-found Beatworx, one of India’s leading electronic music schools. Since 2011, he has produced and performed as part of Audio Units, an internationally recognized act that has played at prominent gigs abroad while continuing to shape the Indian electronic music scene.

With a fully self-taught background, Ashrith’s teaching is grounded in real-world experience and an adaptive, student-first approach. His courses cover a wide range of topics, from essential music production with Ableton Live to specialized areas like sound design, mixing, and mastering. His practical, no-nonsense delivery ensures complex concepts become accessible and creatively inspiring.

Having mentored over 800 students, Ashrith’s influence extends far beyond the classroom. He actively contributes to the global music community through workshops, content creation, and Ableton User Group meets, making music education more inclusive, forward-thinking, and community-driven.

Unknown Movements is a Bristol-based record label run by @OtherForm, releasing music in vinyl, cassette, and digital formats, as well as a semi-regular series of podcast mixes.
