Hier der 1. Teil unseres B2B "Vinyl Only" Mixes aus dem Little Vision letzte Woche. Es hat mega viel Spaß gemacht und ich find das Ergebnis kann sich sehen lassen. Only good Music!! 😎

Fun Fact: Ich hab mir meine ersten Plattenspieler gekauft, als Max geboren wurde 😄
Umso schöner, dass wir – trotz komplett unterschiedlicher musikalischer Sozialisierung – gemeinsam so einen Abend bespielen konnten.
Ich find’s mega, wie er den Weg von digital zu Vinyl gegangen ist und dabei ein richtig feines Gespür fürs Auflegen entwickelt hat.

This year is slowly coming to an end and this time we thought we offer you guys some kinda summary of our 2025 favourite tunes as a special gift and put it together in a very unique almost 3 hour long journey through ups and downs and various emotions....we hope you all enjoy this ride as much as we do....its time to turn up the volume and take some final dances for this year....have a wonderful christmas time and start the upcoming year with health and joy!!

1994 - die Zeit, in der man einen Club nur mit Trillerpfeife und Schweißerbrille betreten wollte, lagen lange hinter uns. ;) Es waren nun schon 3 Jahre vergangen, seitdem wir von diesem „Techno-Virus“ infiziert wurden. 3 Jahre, in denen all unser Geld (das war nicht gerade viel als Azubi bzw. Student) in Platten bzw. die Anschaffung zweier Technics floss. Neben dem gleichen Musikgeschmack verband uns, dass wir uns regelmäßig im Musikladen beim Platten-Durchwühlen im Weg standen (weil der andere grad mal wieder das letzte Exemplar der neuen Djax-Up ergattert hatte). Naja, im Elastic, der Distillery oder in der Duschkabine hat man sich auch öfters gesehen. Einig waren wir uns jedenfalls darin, dass die Leipziger Club- und Partylandschaft mehr bieten sollte. Zur Gründung von "Unknown Species" hat dann nicht mehr viel gefehlt. Der Reiz und vor allem die Lust, einfach mal was Eigenes auf die Beine zu stellen war einfach da!
Fortan beschäftigten wir uns also damit, geeignete Locations zu finden. Unter den damals noch oft ungeklärten Eigentumsverhältnissen, war das vergleichsweise einfach. Zur Organisation von Bar, Deko, Anlage u.s.w. standen uns jederzeit zahlreiche Helfer zur Seite. Unser Logo sollte ein Embryo sein, gepaart mit dem Namen Unknown Species irgendwie cool!
Am 16.05.1995 war es dann so weit. Wir luden zu unserem ersten Ding in ein altes Fabrikgebäude in Leipzig Eutritzsch. Insgesamt 9 eigene Parties und einige Beteiligungen an anderen Projekten und Partys sind’s dann über einen Zeitraum von 8 Jahren doch geworden.
Mittlerweile sind wir alle „Mittvierziger“ und im allgemeinen Lebensstress versunken, haben aber noch regelmäßigen Kontakt zueinander. Eines ist aber geblieben: Die Liebe zur Elektronischen Musik ist immer noch präsent und verbindet uns!
