"Evening (verb) - spending a evening working, singing or chatting together with family, friends or people of shared interests."

A sound collage produced in our living rooms and kitchens throughout the dimmer months of the year. It contains poems, songs, diary entries, field recordings, as well as voice messages sent by our dear friends near and far.

Brought to life in a shape of a silly waxcloth-covered wooden cabinet for the group exhibition "Kompleksais piedāvājums" in Daugavpils with the lovely Pauls Rietums, Marta Folkmane and Stefans Pavlovskis (all are in the piece).

Rejecting its core characteristics, gender or genre, this creature craves for an unmapped transformation by tearing apart its own skin from inside.
