The collaboration came about after both acts met up on the global festival circuit throughout 2012. Creative emails flew back and forth across Europe before the trio finally settled on the skeleton of ‘Mammoth’ as a potential new track. Speaking about the collaboration from his studio in Germany, MOGUAI said, “The track is not so far away from my own solo work. I said to myself, with the right mix this could be something huge, so we got into the studio together and at the end, we had the finished mix that you know now.”

After a lot of demand from his fans, JOOP finally decided to do a remake of his classic anthem The Future. The Future, as we all know, was a career defining release for JOOP. The Anthem for one of Holland's largest dance festivals ID&T's Trance Energy 2007 and a record that continues to be a favourite among festival attendees to this day.

Of course, it is not an easy task to touch a classic. Whereas the original production was a true trance banger, the new remake sports an undeniable 2013 sound. Get ready for Earth-shaking beats, kick drums that are larger than life, a stadium rocking riff, and of course that haunting vocal snippet we all know from the original. 

Last year's Just One Night already showed some of JOOP's all-round production skills in which we hear a combination of Big Room, dubstep-esque electro beats and trance. Armin Van Buuren was one of the first Djs to support this gem in his radio show A State Of Trance which is listened to by millions of fans around the world every week! The new remake of The Future takes it all to the next level. 

Before its official release, Leon Bolier gave it a test run at ASOT 600 and the initial reactions were lauding. The Partysquad is the name of the DJ/ producer formation Jerry Leembruggen and Ruben Fernhout. Coming from The Netherlands, they have been responsible for international releases since 2009, amongst others on Spinnin Records, Universal / TopNotch and Mad Decent. 

The Partysquad has been one of the most popular DJ formations of their country for a steady 8 years, not in the least because of their 10 success singles in the Dutch Top 40 charts. In 2008 they were one of the first Dutch dj’s who were ready to take their sound abroad.
