I wrote this one almost all at once, sitting on the floor of our little lamp-lit cabin one night in June after another long day of performing. I'd made a huge gamble just after my 24th birthday, and put all my money into a plane ticket to live overseas and start a band with a friend. We made our living playing on the streets, in bars, at weddings, wherever we could. We were happy. This tune was a meditation on the few years of my life leading up to that point, and the uncertain years ahead.  Though the song is a couple of years old, I've only just gotten around to recording it
