I created the acronym for her name Never Yield Dreams In Ascension, because through the hurdles I've been through with her by my side, she pushes me to keep going and reaching for my dreams and goals. She is the true definition of a wife, a partner, a confidant, and a best friend is supposed to be. I love her with all my heart and words cannot begin to fathom nor express my love. Therefore, I wrote this song.

My real name is Shalisse Townes. I was born on November 6, 1987 in Bushwick, BK. I've been introduced to music the very day i was born. I was always around music, so it ws a matter of time until i became part of it. I've been making music since i was 5 years old. That was the age i learned how to beatbox from my uncle. Although i was always exposed to music, i didn't realize it was my gift until i was 14 years old. It all started when i recieved my first keyboard on the Christmas of 2001. I taught myself how to play "Lean on Me" by ear. My parents saw this and were amazed. They were so amazed that soon afterwards, i was enrolled into a piano school (which didn't last very long lol). Ever since then, I've been getting better and better at my gift, and I've been pursuing it as a career for over a decade now. So enjoy my page, and feel free to leave a comment or two.
