Written in Las Vegas, Rachel’s favorite getaway to write music with her team, ‘Sink Or Swim’ was created with the intention to pump self-belief, self-love and courage in the listeners ears. Rachel has constantly been disappointed by others, whether it be her expectations on them and their promises to her all the way to their expectations on her and who and what they believe she should be. Letting go of what others think and say and letting go of trusting and relying on others, she wanted to start always betting on herself. At the end of the day, you know you can always rely on you. Fake people are everywhere and reach out a hand with the hope and intent to watch you fail, but no matter how many times she gets let down, she gets up again. ‘Sink Or Swim’ is absolutely one of the edgier songs in Rachel’s arsenal, moving more towards an alternative realm. She wanted to show she has a tough side, a back bone and refuses to be stepped on and hopes it empowers others as this song so strongly resonates with her. Relationships and industries can be cut throat but Rachel chooses to bite back.

Inspo:
        ‘LAST BREATH’ was written in Rachel‘s hometown of Atlanta with her closest friends and producers. They all sat in a room and in light of all the chaos going on in the world they wanted to write about what actually happens if life really is over, if life as we know it ends… between wars being started in other countries, people revolting everywhere, COVID lasting longer than we all thought and losing so many people we love and care about. With so much chaos going on, never knowing when our last day on earth is, Rachel wanted to write about what would happen to love and if it was the last day on earth how would she treat the one that she loves the most? What would you do? Where would you go if the world was coming to an end? Would you give anything and battle to be united with your person forever no matter what obstacles and potential disasters you may face? It’s a song about love in its truest form that you find in the midst of chaos and hold onto for dear life. Apocalyptic love never goes out of style and that’s truly what the world needs.
