So for this song I actually flew back home to Atlanta to write 🙂 I was obsessed with The Beach Boys, and wanted to experiment with choir harmonies. But knowing me, the song came out super dark 🖤

I LOVED making this song, cuz I made the lyrics with my sister 😊 So for this one I used a Raven to symbolize Darkness & bad luck. Sometimes in life you desparetly want to seek happiness, but you are SURROUNDED by darkness, making it seem impossible. All you need is that Raven to sing you a happy song 😊 I Also played off Edgar Allen poe’s “The Raven” poem for some of the lyrics, one of my favorites 😊

goodbye is me letting out my frustrations about myself and how I've been acting the past few years.  My cynicism has started taking over my life more and more. I constantly compare myself to other people and always try to pick out things I don’t like about them. I’ve driven myself to a point where I feel like I’ve lost all my friends because of useless, non-sensical reasons. Sometimes I wish they never got to know me in the first place. In the end though, I wonder if it's truly doing any good. The moment I let go of that part of me, I truly feel like I’m happy.
