After reading the book, my views on immigration did not really change. I do not have a strong opinion on such a topic in the first place, but I do still have views relating to the racism and discrimination that occur because of immigration. This rap is an expression of what I think is a critical component of the whole situation regarding foreigners: the concept that one should judge others by their actions in the place of appearances. For example, in the book one could obviously judge Garrett and his father by this method, but I believe one could also put a negative judgement onto Mayor for his lying. There are various factors involved, regardless, when it comes to judging, complicating the process, but I believe judging one by one's actions should work most of the time.
