The Capetonian producer Dopplershift is back to 4NC¥ //DarkMode with some 140 madness. It is easy to say that this is the heaviest and darkest release on the label yet, it brings a certain level of insanity to the table, turning everything upside down. ‘Pull Up’ makes us feel like we didn’t know the definition of distortion before, it is shadowy as it gets, with a big metallic snare drum to keep us hypnotized and a bassline so evil it makes it difficult not to love this tune

About Aiokai:
Aiokai is a drum & bass and dubstep producer from Mexico. He also likes to explore other genres like uk garage, future garage, breakbeat, breakbeat hardcore and juke/footwork. His DJ Sets are known to have a constant flux, altering the mood depending on what’s happening on the dance floor, never switching genres without accounting for structure, vibes, and groove. He is known for being an important part of the Mexican junglist scene.

He has played in Italy, Croatia and England and alongside artists such as DJ Marky, MC Fava, Run Tingz, Calculon and more. He considers that working at the Outlook Festival in 2018 and 2019 has given him a rich taste in multiple music genres. He is also a music production, sound design and sound engineering teacher. Aiokai works as a music promoter with multiple agencies such as Jungle Empire, BLDSMX and TLILTIC. In the last two, he also manages and does A&R for their respective record labels. He also works as a music writer, interviewer and curator in TLILTIC Radio, an online electronic music magazine and platform.

Danky was born and raised in California surrounded by a family full of musicians. In her early years, piano, trumpet, and guitar occupied most of Danky's time before she discovered the magic of combining electronic and acoustic instruments together in the studio. Danky's initial forays into music production found her exploring the nuances of HipHop, Juke, and Future Beats; but it was only when she began to try her hand at Jungle and Drum & Bass that her passion for the craft truly began to blossom.

Now, 7 years later, Danky has carved a place for herself within the thriving underground scene of electronic dance music where she can flex her own eclectic and undeniable groovy style of DnB that takes slivers and echoes from every other genre of music that has moved her to this point. Danky’s wide ranging style of Dnb & neurofunk hits all the right notes for all the right people.

As a queer artist, Danky has been lucky enough to have supportive friends, family and fans. Although she has had tremendous support, she has seen many queer musicians and friends alike being mistreated. She continues with her efforts to support movements and events like Unorthodox to further the exposure of queer artists and lets everyone know that we are here to play DANK music and we are here to stay.
