We are delighted to present to you the very first Vinyl release of an in-house discovery, Rethe debut. It’s a breeze of fresh air of dynamics and Ideas, his debut shows how techno can be technical and functional, but at the same time impactful and filled with emotions. Petals contains 6 tracks, making this a mini LP, but we want to call this a full-length work engineered for DJs, each cut is studied to the core and created to be as functional as possible yet emotional. "During the process, I found myself drawn to more organic elements! Instruments, textured layers, and subtle melodies that could live within the structure of techno but also stretch beyond it. I wanted every track to feel alive, to breathe, to carry a human touch beneath the rhythm.

Skydivers became a personal journey. Not just a release, but a snapshot of a period where I explored new sounds without overthinking, allowing instinct to guide me.

I didn’t want to follow a strict formula, I wanted to stay honest to what felt right, even if it wasn’t safe.”

EvilGroove is an American-based techno label co-founded by Lindsey Herbert and Jason Doll that has featured artists such as Truncate, Kr!z, Hemka, and Dustin Zahn, as well as supporting simmering underground talent.

Chile's Andrea Riffo is one of the most notable artists from her country's scene, playing many parties and growing her reputation as a must see DJ. Meanwhile, her productions have been landing on labels Joaquin Ruiz's West Rules, Diffuse Reality, Synergie, Xelima, and now she returns to EvilGroove for another VA contribution.

For this DT:Premiere we selected "Red Oscillations" with a bubbling groove. The tight stabbing bassline is infectious and fun, surrounded by mesmerising hypnosis and haunting atmospherics, yet is a firm, heady club trip, ready for the dance floor.

The release spans from stripped back, groove driven tracks to more forceful, hypnotic versions, creating a tension between control and emotion.
