Dead Light was created after Anna Rose Carter and Ed Hamilton moved from London to a quiet, remote space in the countryside. The migration out of the sprawling metropolis to their new rural refuge was a transition that significantly impacted them both, and one that continues to turn and shift under the ambivalence of change, loss, and new beginnings.

Dead Light is released on vinyl, CD and digital download on October 14th, 2016.

“Room for Hope is a song of love, loss, and emotional distance, and it is the second single from the upcoming EP Muted Birds. It is an intimate piece that sounds like it is being played right in front of you, with gentle vocals and subtle cello adding space and some soft sadness. The melody is purposefully repetitive. With every repetition something new is stored, and Room for Hope becomes a glimpse of something bigger that makes you feel calm within the emotional storm.”
