A permanent feature of Dixon’ and Âme’ sets, the Tel Aviv born Tal Fussman marks the 3rd episode of our „Quantum Spits“ series focusing on a Detroitish minimalism.

„Children of 95“ resembles the turning of past and future, cleverly woven into a package of raw sounding club tracks inspired by influential releases from Detroit legends like Robert Hood, his outstanding family project Floorplan or the sub-aquatic basslines productions by Derrick May. He incorporates elements of soul and funk, infusing warmth and emotion into an unpolished sound universe that creates a unique sonic texture based on minimalism and space. With a sense of exploration in sound design, Tal Fussman takes classic elements and transforms them into his own vision of House Music, unique to its creator.

A fresh and summery collaboration arrives on Defected, as Grigoré, Serve Cold and Jaguar Jaguar deliver ‘Dancing’. Grigoré has risen to success producing and DJing across house and techno spheres, quickly earning him respect from world-class artists like Solomun, CamelPhat and Kevin de Vries. His work with frequent collaborator Serve Cold began with his third EP, Seasons, with the tracks channelling both artists’ melancholic and melodic sides. For their Defected debut, the pair unite with Belgian band Jaguar Jaguar, who share the producers’ spiritual aesthetic and talent for electronic music. Jaguar Jaguar’s blissed-out vocals contrast with Grigoré and Serve Cold’s harder production for an chic and dreamlike house outing, evoking blissed-out, open-air vibes just in time for summer. With catchy vocal hooks and deep synths combining in ecstasy, ‘Dancing’ is sure to make an impact for the incoming festival season and well beyond.

A bona fide talent with many strings to her bow, BLOND:ISH has emerged as one of this generation’s most acclaimed electronic artists. From launching the non-profit environmental organisation Bye Bye Plastic and her own label ABRACADABRA, to playing the biggest stages around the world like Coachella, Tomorrowland and Pacha Ibiza’s first ever female residency in 2025, there is nothing BLOND:ISH can’t do. Returning to Defected after 2024’s tastemaker hit ‘The Cure’ with KeeQ and Chloe Paige, BLOND:ISH now collaborates with Moby, one of the world’s most prolific and best-selling dance music artists who also returns to Defected after label debut ‘You & Me’ with Anfisa Letyago.
