Here is the text on love & identity I was presenting during my radio show. And for those of you who were like 'what does this even mean' when I messed up my last sentence... you can look that up below :D

Have you recently thought about how falling in love can change you? And if you break that down, how love can basically be the emotional experience of identity construction and transformation? This feeling of “fulfillment” might emerge because our self-constructed identity gets established through the eyes of the people around us. Our self is never assured and never perfectly defined but rather consists of proving oneself to be what one is, what one has constructed – depending on the value held by others. This is why we choose the friends and lovers that we do. 
And when there is romantic love, the self starts to redefine itself towards goodness. The self embodies a desire for self-improvement. The lover wishes to not only be loved for what they are but for what they can become, their “ideal self”.
So, by falling in love we establish an identity, we narrow and define the set of roles we wish to take on and the characteristics of ourselves which foster and support our relationships. 
Being in love, in relationships, in effect helps us to find our place in the world.

The mix represents a variety of italian cosmic classics with nower days slow tempo electronic bangers and shows the origin of my passion for electronic music. It covers 70s and 80s electronic music e.g. from Logic System, Peru or Koto often played by the italian DJ grand masters like Danielle Baldelli mixed with sounds mainly from the DEEWEE sphere. The tracks are full of synthy sounds and clashes on slow tempo around 100bpm. Starting with an incredible track from Bolis Pupul - Moon Theme, catching up exactly the vibe of those days. Enjoy the Ride.
