Vinyls, k7, cd-rom and field recordings mixture recorded by Léon aka Research Wax from the Toulouse-based record shop Casemate, specialist in second-hand electronic music and everything between to b-side.
Two hours in the middle of a bayou accompanied by the mage Ray-B for the first ceremonial part, meeting forgotten cults with drone, psychedelic mantra and fractured bells. For the second hour, I continue our exploration in the swamp with sounds reminiscent of voodoo jazz and spiritual breaks buried beneath the muddy soil. Bon voyage!

Via his band Shanti, as well as his many collaborations with artists like George Harrison, The Grateful Dead drummer Mickey Hart, Ravi Shankar, Herbie Hancock, Shivkumar Sharma Béla Fleck, Charles Lloyd, and Yo-Yo Ma, Hussain merged North and South Indian music as well as jazz, Western classical, and tabla to extraordinary effect.
