To celebrate the end of 2021 and Spinning Around's first year in action, Highly Minogue has invited some of this year's guests to contribute to a new independent charity compilation. This compilation features new productions from each artist, and all proceeds go directly to Australian First Nations organisations - including Pay The Rent and the Victorian Aboriginal Legal Service - causes Highly feels strongly about after the loss of his best friend back in 2014.

Spinning Around is one of Melbourne community radio's most beloved shows, hosted by DJ and producer Highly Minogue. Airing on online radio platform Area 3000, Highly invites guests every week for an interview and a guest mix; uploading his segment for playback on the station's website, Soundcloud and Spotify. Known for his passion for electronic music and his conversational style, the show has accumulated many dedicated listeners tuning in every week.

Canadian label Kudatah are set to release their most extensive project to date next Friday 2nd October with the mammoth 22-track compilation ‘Kudatah - Vol. 3’. The release has been in the works for the last 2 1/2 years and features a bunch of label staples and new faces to the series including Hood Joplin, Konx-Om-Pax, Skee Mask and Jose Fleury to name a few. 

It’s an inspiring release that covers the multi-dimensional soundscape of the label covering the realms of ambient, jungle, techno, drum & bass and beyond. Raiders presents Queens of Club: a two-part VA celebrating the established and up-and-coming women and non-binary producers of Ghetto House, Electro, Footwork & Breakbeat. 

Astral Booty is the otherworldly, funky, left-field side of Queens of Club. 
The recurring theme is dreaminess, but don't let that lull you into a false sense of security as these tracks still slap, and will go to town on your subwoofer! 
Cute Breaks, Ghetto Techno and Playful Hardcore are just a few buzzwords that come to mind, but don’t quite do justice to the extreme diversity of sounds within.

The title pays homage to the seminal "Queens of Baltimore Club", a highly sought-after LP from various legendary female Bmore artists (like Kotton the Cutie and Mz. Thang) compiled by DJ Technics in 2001. Almost two decades later and the club scene is still a hostile environment for marginalised groups and this compilation aims to address that. Queens of Club is by women/non-binary people, right down to the mastering engineer and the artwork designers, and intended for everyone who likes to shake their ass at high speed!
