PREMIERE: Hartta - NRG Tool [Branch Points]

Sterling Jones and Paul Lesley make up "A Number of Names." Their track "Shari Vari" was the first Techno track to be released out of Detroit in early 1981. Electrifying Mojo along with Detroit staff writer Jim McFarlin named the group "A Number of Names." 
 I actually heard about this while listening to a J-Rocc  (LA Hip-Hop DJ) mix, and he spelled out what track it was. Really dope considering the time it came out.

His sets are marked by the art of sound manipulation and style pollution, challenging standards and prejudices, playing wisely with technology and everything that enables him to change and produce music reworks. Antonio dosn t aim to classify his sound within precise boundaries, but its quite easy to perceive strong house roots with contemporary techno and deep inflections.

@Raitobeats, known for his work in the tech house genre and recordings on Deadmau5' Mau5trap, showcases his love for the UK bass scene with his latest EP, "Black Tracksuit." This collection of tracks draws on influences across the hardcore continuum, delivering a unique and genre-defying sound.

"Black Tracksuit" is a hard-edged mix of grime, jungle and UK garage with a UK influence that sets the tone for the EP. The A-side also features "Foresight," a psychedelic jungle track that constantly evolves, keeping listeners on their toes.

The B-side opens with "Junk Dog," a roughneck hardcore tune that harkens back to the sound of 1992. Rounding out the EP is a remix of "Junk Dog" by London-based producer @basicrhythm. This straight up drum and bass track strips down the original and transforms it into a bass-heavy drum and bass stepper straight out of 1999.

Premiere: SSSLIP 'All One Object'

Following their outstanding appearance on Kindergarten Records VA Fluo III, Brooklyn-based DJ and producer Martini debuts on Early Reflex with their first EP titled ‘Last Laugh’.

Touching sonic landscapes adjacent to Leftfield Techno, Dubstep and Electro, Martini explores in their 4-tracker the power to impact on both body and mind through their immersive sound achieved by a precise manipulation of timbre and rhythm from the American producer.

Title track ‘Last Laugh’ opens the journey into Martini’s world with syncopated beats and its punch kick surrounded by warped effects and a texture of arpeggiated synthesisers.
Mood and BPMs shift into electro-mode in’If I Don’t Laugh I’ll Cry’ a heavy distorted synth signals to the listeners that an explosive beat is about to drop.
The dance keeps going on and on with ‘Chaste’ which follows next, a wormhole of incessant kick-drums, pitch-shifting effects and punchy-basses.
The atmospherical state of‘Serendipity’ close the sonic journey into Martini’s world, where mind-twisting pads and undistinguishable vocals pre-announce the landing on an extraterrestrial dub-heavy “sonosphere”.

‘Dials’ delves into a grittier and more aggressive rendition of his sound, carefully blurring the lines between techno, broken beats and dubstep through innovative production techniques, whilst preserving his distinctive intricate and textured style. Despite the exploration of diverse influences, the release doesn't shy away from the allure of the original dubstep sound, seamlessly integrating its essence to serve its purpose within a club environment. Amidst its pulsating intensity and overall grimness, this excursion remains a poignant tribute to the post-industrial ambiance of Greater Manchester.

Our featured premiere ‘I’ll Know’ rides on dark grooves of dystopian acidic squelches before immersing in thick ridged breakdowns of breaks & bass.

Migration is a sonic embodiment of WDDS' personal journey from the coastal tranquility of Brighton to the vibrant urban energy of Manchester, featuring collaborations with friends and fellow artists he encountered along the way.
