In this episode of UNTS podcast, we meet Skien, Norway-based producer, and DJ Kellini

During the last few years, Kellini has made his mark both abroad and domestically, playing house, disco house, and deep house for an ever-growing audience.

His first 7-track EP was released on Thunder Jam Records, and he has since then released music on labels such as Midnight Riot Records, Black Riot Records, Paperwave, and Hot Digits Music.

Several exciting collaborations are underway, with a host of Norwegian producers. He has a collaboration with Jarle Bråthen, Called The Telemark Express, they just released an EP called Writers Block, released on Paper Wave.

Trond was born in 89, and fell in love with electronic music when Sash! And Antiloop was rocking the late 90s. Raving and dancing around the underground and clubs in his early 20s made an impact, so he bought a controller to start DJing 🔊🎶 

Always on the hunt for the perfect blend between two tracks ✨

Since the noughties, the infectiously loveable Norwegian DJ & Producer Kjetil Lagesen has been honing his performance and production talent under his artist name KELLINI. 

On the performance side, KELLINI has delivered his potent brand of devilishly chugging, deep and groovy Nu-disco, House and melodic Electronica productions and dizzying DJ sets across nightclubs & festivals across Europe including Berlin & nationally across his native Norway. These have included shows at Jaeger Club, Extra Delicious events, Safari, Storgata 26, Jarle Bråthen’s renowned FjernstYrt’s parties, Vaktbua, Dama Di, Crack Bellmer and Geiranger Elektro Festival – where he closed the festival after the act Skateboard.

Furthermore, KELLINI has shared line-ups with European artists such as Jarle Bråthen under their ‘The Telemark Express’ concept, David Boo boogiemann, Safira & Olle Abstract. 

On the production side, KELLINI has seen over 40 productions released of his music which includes co-productions on digital and CD format on top European record labels such as Midnight Riot Records, their brother label Black Riot Records, Paperwave of Paper Recordings, HOT GROOVERS, Beatservice Records, Thunder Jam Records, Hot Digits, Masterworks Music and many more.

2022 sees KELLINI enter the next exciting stage of his professional music career, fiercely dedicated to continuing to create further solo material, continuing studio collaborations with producers for release on various labels, beginning to perform shows again post-covid, and releasing the excellent ‘Der Borte’ EP on rapidly rising record label @HOT-GROOVERS.

Playing disco, house, breaks, and techno with focus on old school underground vibes. The passion for music and the interesting journey looking for the next good track is the main driving force behind the work of Kim Young iLL.

The club concept UNTS was founded with fellow house music lover Rub800 after moving to Kristiansand in 2011. Together they ran the only underground all-nighters in the south of Norway. The parties evolved to become the space for a growing society of people sharing the passion for dancing their way through the weekends.

At the same time he managed the bookings for the club frk. Larsen. After a while with steady nights bringing nice bookings and good atmosphere to the south, he started to appear behind the decks in Oslo and other Norwegian cities, as well as in Berlin and Kaunas, Lithuania.

Has among others been booked by Bohnengold, Jæger, DR. Pong, Konrad, Skaugum, Elefant, Oslo Camping, Kulturhuset, Piscoteket, Cafe Sør, Uhørt, Folque and Sommerøya.

Currently resident DJ at Storgata 26, Oslo and still arranges the monthly popular UNTS parties.
