I've been sitting on this tune for almost two years now. It's concept has been amorphous for sometime but I feel it's turned into something far greater than I initially thought it could be. The title "Pramatta" is a Sanskrit word meaning drunken, lustful, or inattentive,. Those words however, are only symptoms of a deeper egoic state of mind. A state that was momentarily stripped of my body when I created this song. If only for a moment, through song, dance, and intuitive practices we all tune into the effervescent energy of Spirit. Alas, the recognition of this state is not always fun and games. The ego is murky, muddy, animalistic and rules over much of the human experience. If a song is to mirror that part of the journey then it will be a dark song indeed. As harsh as Gods and as loud as Thunder Beings. With a blessing of connection I say my life is not separate from yours. We all walk together and through connection our creative mind grows. I say if at least one person can tune into your energy and utilize to forward their spiritual path; I know you are amongst gods. I know you are a MURTI.

Kinetik Records are well known for bringing their sound across subs and on club stages throughout the European circuit, with this next release providing a snapshot into the reasons for their archaic reputation. Having played host to a huge range of artists, including some of the most promising prospects such as Brainpain, ChaseR, Redpill and more Kinetik bring a three-track EP from Imadeus into the forefront of their discography. Following their devastating ‘Kinetik Records Goes to Let it Roll EP’, which saw them take pride of place alongside the drum & bass mecca’s back catalogue of music, this forthcoming release from the label will see a welcome return to the sound which has seen them rise to notoriety. 

The ‘Voyager 1’ EP pulls together a selection of neuro infusions to present a multi-faceted production standard and a set of tracks sure to cause absolute annihilation on the dancefloor. Imadeus goes for the musical arteries, hitting harder and harder with every crunching layer of sonic and your first experience of this is through title-track ‘Voyager 1’, which is devastating in its breakdown and continues to punch with the same intensity after every cutting segment. Pounding drums, spitting stabs of bass and crackling distortion fill your ears when the track begins to build, adding piece after piece of its composition for a tightly knit purpose. It’s subversive in its detonation, providing a track that adds a welcome twist of versatility to Kinetik’s discography. 

‘Outward Flow’ presents itself next, a lumbering, melodic roller that catches you unaware with every twisting groove. It breaks out of every paradigm set up for the genre, with crushing sub bass and elevated synth peaking between every flowing break. Alongside ‘Red Spot’, which continues the same unwieldy vibe underpinned with shaking metallic percussion and a creeping bassline, Imadeus demonstrates how he’s able to hit the focal point of his production with every subsequent record on the EP. Together, they present a spectrum of sound which even the most longstanding producers could find difficult to tap into. Alongside the likes of Kinetik Records, Imadeus is set to move from one tier to the next, leaving no prisoners in his wake.

https://soundcloud.com/wyliebass: I've been producing for about a year or two now. This is my first EP and I'm trying to grow exponentially with every project. I've always been in love with music, and I'm working every day to create original music at a professional level. There are no boundaries on what I make because there has never been boundaries on what I listen to. I want to work with artists from all walks of life, and dabble in every and any genre I think sounds cool. The one thing that inspires me most in the artists I look up to is their innovation. From artists before I was alive like Elvis, Jimi, and The Dead; they all dared to be different. and the followings they received were legendary. Now the new wave of artists are the ones who are molding my sound, Bassnectar, Tipper, G. Jones, I could name a hundred artists and they'd all be as equally as talented as the last. Now I just want to create my own sound that reflects the sounds that inspired me to make music in the first place.

Wylie's just my last name. I feel that any name I would have come up with to make music under would have felt fake; this just felt a little more genuine. Maybe the moniker will change eventually.

"Let It Breathe" was a little different than the other songs on the EP. I just kind of sat down one day with no regards toward a final product or the sound design or any of that, I just started creating and putting pieces together like a puzzle in no particular order. Eventually it started becoming this overly distorted monster that resembled an instrumental so I made sure it sounded alright with A Cappella's over it but I ended up just leaving it bare. Maybe some of the edits will pop up in shows or something.
