MalLabel Music has all the chills running down your feels this week with a unique sound experience from Milwaukee, Wisconsin's ZeroGravity.

The Vaporesque meets Space Bass in this duo's ambient future project. ZeroGravity makes no attempt to fit into the boxes of current classifications as their experiences enlist ideas from Vaporwave, Glitch-Hop and something else entirely to create the unexpected emotional journeys within. These alien transmissions flow seamlessly as often as they don't while moving from synthetic machinery to minimal vibes and off into another world and yet they all feel perfectly placed. Their newest album The Waxing Gibbous takes the journey to a whole new level with an truly innovative approach to ambient listening.

“Enter The Void” is an appropriate name for this experience to start as the track playsmenacing games around your head as it sinks farther from earthly communications. “Flow Masters” trips out with some synthetic bass creations over organic rhythms of piano and bongo bringing us to the tribal eastern vibes and crashing Drum & Bass finish of “Sonic Persuasion”. “Late Night Delight” takes us slowly through the mean streets in a joyride Through glitch and rhythm and finally, “Prideful Joy” is a journey of kaleidoscopic overtones over all things beautiful in a rollercoaster of moods and tones. As much experimental art as music, this is one beautiful collection of sounds with which to escape into the night.

MalLabel Music is getting twisted in space once more with another pay-what-you-want single from Milwaukee, Wisconsin’s, ZEROGRAVITY. 

Taking experimental Electronica perhaps a step too far, this duo has absolutely no care for conventional ideals in creating their musical experiences. They in fact seem quite pleased to let us flounder along riding their emotionally charged and consistently evolving soundscapes with an inexorable passion. That being said, I can’t say we’re not down with it. One can expect to get lost at first when the boundaries of exploration are so firmly tossed aside and that’s probably why these tracks never get played only once. Tossing us straight out the airlock to fend for ourselves among the deep dark psychedelia once again, ‘Opal's Deception’ is an exotic and thought provoking journey into inner space. Sweeping and reversing stabs and tripped out atmospheres await you as you fall victim to sudden shifts in energy and unexpected moods. Get something more than just music in ya. This is an experience.

MalLabel Music is stoked this week to bring back another episode of wonders from the experimental side of the space race as Milwaukee, Wisconsin's ZeroGravity takes us through a sound portal to the glitchy beyond.

This space explorer blew us away a year ago when they dropped The Waxing Gibbous on us and they've stepped up the game in both experimentalism and production for 2017. This time bringing back the most unique and incredible sounds they could gather from outside of our world and putting them together in yet another phantasmal journey through the fabric of space and time. If you thought they were out of this world before, wait and hear just how weird one can be when one creates while completely weightless.

The waning Crescent, opens up with 'The Mystery Box', a chimerical conglomeration of dreamlike elements and glitchy renditions of inter-spacial anomalies woven together into a tapestry of kaleidoscopic and ever evolving design. True to it's name, 'Contrapuntal' blends many independent melodic lines through a wormhole together and plays the result while 'The Observatory' takes a look at the musical interludes of a galaxy far away and plays them back through human speaker technology. 'I Know What You Want At Night' is a creepshow of vocal manipulations and glitchy cuts over some alien bass creations and finally, 'The Way It Used To Be' polishes it all off with the sounds of an artificial intelligence creating a symphony of it's own. The most original thing you'll hear this year. Hands Down.

MalLabel Music is hyped this week to welcome back a master of interstellar weirdness from the midwest with Milwaukee, Wisconsin’s ZeroGravity sending us into glitchy bass face overdrive.

As a follow up to his wildly original 2017 release ‘ The Waning Crescent’, this producer’s first foray into 2018 shows him as ever dedicated to his music’s mission to ‘push earthlings towardst the fringes of deep space, and away from  the societal hold of current times.

First Quarter opens into ‘Constellation Culmination’, with a techy, two step intro reminiscent of our favourite old school Space Invader games. Ominous, ambient synths paint a wavy background that holds our heads steady as we’re lead up into the galaxy and plunged deep down into the dubby wobbles that lie below. Next, ‘Dreams From A Distant Time’ opens up as a sweet respite that takes us from twinkling, high end stardust into luxuriously filthy dub and blends the two into swirling, racing perfection. ‘Ever Been To Japan’ is destined to twist dancefloors into writhing pits of anthemic memory, with high hitting synths shimmering over alien code languages that erupt into knee breaking bass drops. Savour. ’Blue Moon’ showcases this man’s dexterity on the decks, as seemingly endless layers stir your speakers into a frenzy while ‘Loose Link Sink Ships’ leaves us floating off blissfully into the sweet unknown with more of the experimental magic this man is becoming known for.

With such a brilliant bass translation of extra-planetary communications, it’s beginning to seem highly unlikely that ZeroGravity is mere mortal. Aliens walk among us, and they’re ready to take you on a wicked ride.
