From lands near and far, Dub Der Guten Hoffnung unites for a very special "Earthday" celebration! On Friday the 16th of August, 2013, we join together in the caverns of Subland to celebrate 2 years full of unforgettable music and smiling faces from all around the world!

Throughout these past 2 years our family has grown constantly, and no matter where we may find ourselves in this wild world - whether we're pushing the music forward in England, defending our passions in Austria, travelling to the furthest reaches of the Americas or holding things down in Berlin, we will always have the music to connect us!

We are very proud to say that this Friday we will all be united again, for the first time in over a year, with many unique stories and adventures to share - not to mention some great new music! Les archives du reggae n’ont pas encore livré tous leurs trésors, Musical Echoes vous propose ainsi des focus sur des concerts et sound systems historiques. Quatrième volet, un concert très abouti des Gladiators, le 3 juillet 1983, au Wolfgang's de San Francisco, en hommage à l'ancien leader du groupe, Albert Griffiths, décédé le 15 décembre dernier, à l'âge de 74 ans. Atteint de la maladie de Parkinson, ce dernier avait quitté le groupe en 2005, remplacé au lead vocal par son fils Al alors que le cofondateur Clinton Fearon, poursuit quant à lui, sa carrière en solo à Seattle, depuis 1986. Retour sur une formation synonyme de l'âge d'or du roots jamaïcain, à l'origine d'une pléiade de hits à jamais gravés dans l'histoire du reggae.
