Peppering your summer with some heatwave-ready delicacies all set at melting your decks and woofers, here comes Kater Blau and Sisyphos affiliate vibist Benjamin Knows, a name who's been making waves in and around the big city and shall continue spreading around with viral impact. Championing a bountifully textured yet laser-precise strain of dub house, 'I Go (Crazy)' is proper incendiary material for the long, hot nights of boogie ahead of us. Drenched in heavily- processed layers of FX and playful tape-echo gone wild, Benjamin's debut incursion on UY flexes the kind of low-slung, elastic bounce, chopped-up vox slivers and bass-borne churn that promises to get dancers wading in an ocean floor of sweat. Rolling up his sleeves on remix duty, label co-head Marco Resmann dishes out his own irresistibly infectious take on the track, fleshing it out with a further syncopated swing, hi-octane punch and crisper-than-crisp drum programming, all coated with a thick gravy of machine filtering for good measure. Rounding off the package is a shortened tool version for those who really seek the quintessence of what Benji's new weapon can deliver to your door. Beware that highly volatile number.

Zusammen als Isotonic Groove lassen sie sich blaue Kaltgetränke schmecken und drehen die Teller wie Industriespülmaschinen. Mit ihrer gesunden Mischung aus House, Techno und Breaks gehören die beiden in der Dorett, im Off und im Schick mittlerweile zum Standardinventar.

Saved Records present the fourth installment of their acclaimed collection sampler series, “Collection D”. Featuring a diverse selection of artists; only two of which are close members of the Saved family, the ten-track collection welcomes a host of new friends with a heavy focus on new and emerging talent. Perfectly summing up the ethos of the label, these fresh producers unleash a collection of uncompromising, underground club-leaning bombs.

Regular Saved cohort &ME gets the collection underway with label-mates Rampa and Re.You’s fresh remix of ‘Blitz’, Sabb returns to the label following an EP earlier this year and Rob Cockerton, a permanent fixture behind the decks at Saved parties over the years, puts his first record out here. Mulletover’s Geddes makes his first appearance on Saved with the frenetic “Standup” just as rising Italian duo Macromism, New York’s Vanjee, Lancaster and Denney & Guthrie all make their Saved debuts.

Collection D has a stripped back and heady aesthetic running throughout its entirety. Jacking beats, driving basslines and pumping 303 rhythms feature heavily, creating a spine of powerful bottom end sonics. There is plenty of energy, old school vibes and a darker edge on display across the ten tacks too, making this the most underground collection of the series yet.

Poker Flat Recordings has been dealing out underground house music with a unique twist since 1999; from the defining debut 'Loverboy' through the Bugnology series, acclaimed albums and worldwide club hits, Steve Bug's essential imprint has unearthed new talent, developed rising stars and welcomed veterans into the fold. Steve Bug's reputation as an exceptionally gifted DJ, producer and music connoisseur is about to carry the beloved imprint to its 15th anniversary, which will be celebrated with its finest collection of raw talent yet, as seen on this second instalment of the anniversary EP series called 4 Jacks. 

John Tejada's 'Sweat (On The Walls)' is a stone cold minimal house classic, and it's in expert hands here with the low-down groove of Sebo K; his refix keeps it deep and sparse, but adds a nice layer of shimmy and shake that reveals a new melodic accessibility. 

Daniel Dexter's 'No House For Old Men' was a beautifully melodic single that lit up playlists and dancfloors in 2011, and a new remix by Tom Taylor & Gareth Whitehead adds a rich palette of melodic color and harmony paired with a rolling, propulsive beat. 

The other half of the EP showcases new original productions: longtime Poker Flat friend Josh Wink delivers 'Groove', which bounces with tongue-in-cheek energy and Josh's signature deconstructed acid style, while rising talent Anaxander reveals the quirky, classic deep house inclinations that has endeared him to labels like Quintessentials and Local Talk, with the lovely 'A Place To Go'.

Fifteen years deep, and Poker Flat Recordings is still at the top of its game.

Day by day is passing... life is evolving, people are evolving and of course the music evolution is a big part of our growth. Tzinah is doing the same thing and is putting it's finger in supporting the nowadays sound and the sound from tomorrow. Corsu is the artist  we present you on our 56th release, he is the newest star to have an eye in the scene with the newest ideas to be tasted by us all.  With only two tracks on this EP he can make a difference and make you think which direction you wanna go in music. The journey is all that matters and Corsu has a lot of stories to tell us. We are glad to have him in our team, which is getting bigger EP by EP... Tzinah is bringing to your ears another great mind  and a pioneer in this sound, Herck. Working in the background with him and preparing a lot of cookies, his remix is just a little piece of the cake. It's a great appetizer for after-hours. And because we're there, M-Phunk is doing a great appearance in the after-hours experience bringing his smooth rhythm on the right groove. It is the year 2007.

Electronic music is more popular than ever, especially TechHouse is on a thriving uprise and Berlin already became the buzzing nightlife capital of the world it is known as today.

Amidst all these creative and musical vibes a new label is born -  Upon.You Records. Founded in February 2007 by DJ & producer Marco Resmann, with a first release under his moniker Phage on Martin Landsky's Intim Recordings as well as great success as one half of the infamous project Luna City Express under his belt, and electronic music veteran Hawks Grunert, formerly involved in running Timing Recordings with Tanith as well as working for legendary „Frontpage“ magazine, Upon.You Records was already widely recognized for its first release, Phage's „Vut & Vat EP“, and started to drive on the fast lane immediately.

Originally intended to be a platform for music from an inner circle of friends as well as for aspiring young talent it didn't take long until the label branched out in 2008 with first international signings,  various label tours all over the place and a first label compilation.

In 2009, after receiving massive support from nightlife heavyweights like Steve Bug, Brothers Vibe, Someone Else and many more, a cover story in German electronic music magazine GROOVE and with a catalogue of roughly twenty 12“ releases Upon.You launched two subdivisions - Upon.You Digital and the momentary Upon.You Sweet & Sour Series – and established a booking agency as well as regular label events at two of Berlin's most praised venues, Watergate Club and the infamous Panoramabar.

Furthermore Upon.You Records teamed up with Workaholics Berlin for the launch of a merchandising line in 2009, introducing the labels unique visual image to the world of street fashion.

With the launch of the annual label retro- / futurespective „Upon.You Diary“ and an expanded core artist family now including Marco Resmann, Martin Landsky, ONNO, Ruede Hagelstein, Gunnar Stiller, Magit Cacoon and The Cheapers alongside many others, 2010 finally paved the way for success and fruitful growth to come in consecutive years in which Upon.You became one of the leading labels in all things TechHouse and related.

And it was even the first issue „Upon.You Diary“ that awed the electronic world with Marco Resmann's widely praised tune „This Song“, immediately ruling every dancefloor after it was released and drawing even more attenttion towards the Berlin-based label which continued to expand its growing international network whilst signing releases by Quenum, Kink or the UK-based longtime ambassador Steve Lawler.

On a jam-packed schedule of about twenty releases per year lately, including Ruede Hagelstein's Beatport smash „Minus“, with label artists touring the globe frequently and armed with the brand new, 2014-launched UYX subdivision focusing on raw TechHouse and classic stamped whitelabel aesthetics, Upon.You has grown into a major force on the international electronic music circuit.

Always on the lookout for new talent and keen to explore new territories, the future looks brighter than ever for Upon.You after entering the longplay circuit with the widely acknowledged album debut of the former Tel Aviv- and now Berlin-based DJ / producer Magit Cacoon, another successful instalment of the „Upon.You Diary“-series and finally entering three digit realms with the release of Marco Resmann's extrordinary gold vinyl 12“  „100“ - the onehundredth Upon.You single release in the label history which was released in late 2015.

And things surely are about to be busier than ever for all members of the Upon.You camp over the course of 2016, celebrating the labels 8th anniversary with a dedicated series of label events all over Europe and special showcases at Sonar / Barcelona as well as ADE and, of course, a string of high quality releases for maximum dancefloor pleasure throughout this season and beyond. Watch out.
