This set was inspired by my trip to the Fjords in Norway, where humans are not the master of the world but only fleeting passengers in it. It's where I found a lot of inspiration in my life and music, so I wanted to keep a techno oriented mix as I was very inspired by this magical place. The idea of being close to our source of life, the water, of having a connection with nature where the elements meet each others, being all connected in harmony, what I am trying to transmit in my music and life in a maximum of ways. Lets not forget our place in this world and stay connected to what we really are, citizen of the Mother Earth.

Lea Occhi joins for DifferentSound Podcast #230.

Léa Occhi is a French Techno DJ based in Berlin, co-founder and resident of the Spectrum Waves in Paris: queer collective with freedom, tolerance, respect, passion, love at its core. 

She hosts events at Station Gare des Mines, a rehabilitated industrial wasteland and former railway station, to provide a safer space for minority communities, where freedom of expression is lived in all thinkable forms. Through her collective, she has managed to create a perfect balance between her own desires, ambitions and her fundamental values and commitments. 

Her sets stand out for their sharp selection and absolute coherence. A mental, groovy techno with organic, tribal and some spatial sounds. She knows how to adapt and create an unique atmosphere and cohesion in each of her performances, always revealing her current feelings.
