The idea / concept for this podcast is “Journey”. Not so much referred to as moving from one place to another, but more as a journey of sensations, emotions experienced through music. The intention is to represent a sound journey in a 2 hours mix.

I chose to reflect this mix of hypnotic and deep with a little bit of break in my set because the mix affects me emotionally and I always find the mix of hypnotic and off beat / break sound at slower tempos exciting and deep. The way I reflect my emotions is directly linked to the choices I make in my set. The effect of my set reflecting a deep and emotional journey and seeing the effect it will create is one of the main things that connects me to this set.

Raised in Pennsylvania, an early fascination with software production led him from live music into an obsession with track building and the limitless possibilities of electronic music. In 2020, he launched @90stechno.redux, an online platform that catalogues some of the finest, and often nearly-unheard, examples of the genre's golden age. Drawing heavily on the Detroit-Berlin axis, Federico exemplifies the focus and discernment of a purist, engaging with techno both as a true art form and as a near-spiritual discipline.
