Once upon a strange December
One we'd all be sure to remember
A grumpy beast was plotting, a beast we all know
A beast whose heart was colder than snow

The Grinch was his name, we'd all come to fear it
And he abhorred the very nature of the holiday spirit
His level of cheer was...less than substantial
And every year he tried to get Christmas cancelled

Many times he tried, but no success, not a chance
But this year he found his perfect circumstance
His black heart was so cold that it began to freeze
As he cried, "I'll ruin their Christmas with a deadly disease!"

And all the holiday characters, to their shock and dismay
Were sent off to a land far far away
For the world they defended-- that's ours-- well, it's tragic
Had been robbed by this virus of its holiday magic

But along with the others, there was an error!
An innocent boy sent away with them, oh the horror! The terror!
But to this little boy, this type of thing was common
He'd been the subject of holiday mishaps all too often

KEVIN is his name, and maybe he knows what to do!
Maybe he can save the day...well Kevin, can't you?

With the holiday season upon us, the curmudgeonly Grinch launches his master plan...with a deadly virus, he shall cancel Christmas, banishing all the holiday icons to a faraway land where they can't bring cheer to all the good children in the human world. Can one little troublemaker from Illinois be the key to bringing back the Christmas spirit?

In case it wasn't obvious, this is an AU about Christmas characters, where all the various Christmas icons are whisked away from reality because the real world has lost its holiday spirit. I don't wanna say anything else but...you'll be seeing more from this soon. No spoilers.
